This is the first i've seen of this game, and i'm surprised it's not a metroidvania game to be honest.

So this is my sequel to Sniper Elite and Zombie Army Trilogy huh? As a big fan of that franchise it's cool they are doing something else but this is too much like those in terms of... well everything? I mean from UI to animations it's a Sniper Elite 4 skin.

I love the idea of this game and its mechanics. I always had a soft spot for the 1920's pulp fiction and the like but the idea that the treasure isn't shared completely turns me off from the game. They took a cooperative gave and injected competition into it between the players. Remember playing WoW back in the day and people ninja-ing the treasure? That is all this made me think of. Even in this video it didn't take long for everyone to go out on their own, not work as a team (until it forced them to) and fight over the loot. No thanks. Also, the shooting and movement look stiff. Like there is too much recovery off the roll and the like.

I would love a new game to come along and fix the holes in this game. I'd love it even more if it was in VR. :)

I dunno, man... I've seen my share of brigades, and this one is mildly quirky at best.

Not sharing loot in any co-op game is a massive mark against a game like this for me. Like, if the point is to work together the last thing I want to do is get into bickering about who gets what, and as someone who sometimes likes to take my time, and can get intimidated if I don't know a new map/game play elements, the element of 'rushing ahead is rewarded by more loot" nature it produces is just..

Its bad game design 101 and I had really thought we'd gotten past it.

What's the purpose of not making the treasure shared? Like if they wanted to slow down progress, they should have just made less gold drop instead or something. There really seems like no point to restricting this otherwise.

Nothing wrong with unshared loot. Borderlands did not have shared loot (only gold was shared, ammo, health and guns were not) and that is a great co-op game. Looks like you earn plenty of gold anyway just from killing enemies. Haven't seen alot of good 4 player co-op games this year, this definitely fills that void.

Maybe I'm getting old but Giantbomb becoming more like "Youtube gaming" aka forced screaming as a reaction is not a direction I wish to see them take.

I would love to do that but it's kind of hard since they are our neighbours.

Man...a full priced game with 4 player co-op in mind...that's a bit much for me. I guess I'll wait for the price drop like get 4 copies for 40 or something and then I'll gladly give it a shot. We always enjoy this kind of games with friends

Do you wonder if accusing the dev of probable racism dilutes the impact of such a powerful word, if you're not certain of it? I mean, if you have to couch the word with "probably", I'm wondering if another label applies that's more definitive.

Looks pretty dull. Combat and puzzles seem mostly in the way of progression, which itself doesn't look that exciting.

Yeah, I don't know about the setting of British imperialists plundering the treasures of old cultures is a good theme in 2018 without a "Are we the baddies?" realization or acknowledgement.

Cool to see another cross country QL, there can never be enough of those.

The game seems middling at best, though, and loot not being shared is terrible.

Also, Abby, please get yourself a new "English" one liner, "Ello Govna" is the worst. Aside from that I still really like the energy you bring to the table in QLs.

No shared/individualized loot and no progress shared across campaigns is pretty rough.

I've never played this game, but seeing them not going for the windows for the solution was maddening.

Yeah, Abby taking over things and moving forward without consulting with others. Oh boy and the constant screaming!!! She's great usually, but I don't think she should be included in everything GB does.
