Yeah, they do need to do a better job with that, which seems like they should have an easier time with it since there are so many controller layouts for their systems in place already. Seems like they feel the need to justify things like motion and force-feed them into their games.

To Unlock DK you have to complete 3 different paths in the River Survival mode.

The other 2 are unlockable by playing through the Challenge Road mode which itself is only unlocked after you unlock ALL the mini games.

Dan might have been away when this quick look was recorded. He wasn't on the Beastcast last week, which hey usually record in Thursdays.

I love that this launched after paid online started, yet there's no way to play a full game with friends online.

I like how fitting the character choices are for the GB crew, same thing when they did Mario Party Party back West. If Brad wasn't Wario I think he'd be Monty Mole or Boo.

This Mario Party seems good, too bad they don't have 50 turn games, all you need is to increase the number.

Not only that, but the UI seems like a placeholder. Like, they call a board space a "Roulette" game...and then just have the game cycle through plain white text with no graphics whatsoever.

The fact that Dan isn't on this is hilarious to me.

I understand this is a simple matter of differing tastes but it's so weird listening to someone enthusiastically talk about the things that I absolutely cannot stand about this game.

Of course I'm used to differing opinions but there are things about this game I simply cannot fathom someone enjoying. Mario Party brings out the worst in me, and this one is by far the one I've loathed the most.

Count me happy that people are enjoying it, I just absolutely do not get it.

Wow, the baseball mini game was tense as hell there at the end. Good job on Abbey and how she presented this. Happy Hyperactive Abbey was very cute to see.

Hitman and Mario Party would be the best Christmas ever.

The Slaparazzi mode and the toy baseball thing look a lot of fun, and I feel like I'd want to do the team river rapids activity minus the minigames.

To everyone who is bummed out that Dan wasn't at the Mario Party.

This is a SUPER Mario Party, that's for a elite kind of Mario Party player, and we all know that's Abby.

16:40 was the most Mario Party Party thing ever.

Doing this without Dan is a pretty good prank.

~40 min. was pretty painful...like the game is even counting the spaces for you so it should be obvious that that pipe is not 10 spaces away...
