This looks super pretty but it's physics and controls look uninteresting. Too bad.

Yo we talking Pickardy thirds? They're basically just a Major I chord at the end of a song that has primarily minor i chords. And yes, that's a good example at the end of that song. So if you're going "am, dm, am, E7" as a progression, and then you end with A then that's a pickardy third. The more you know.

@dasakamov: Well if you think about it, everything composed on the computer screen is made of pixels. It's all about the resolution. I don't get the hate about making them visible at all. If your art is interesting and the story/mechanics/sound compliment it well, I welcome it just like any other game. But again, OPINIONS! I SHALL VOICE THEM INTO THE ABYSS THAT IS THE INTERNET AND HOPE IT RILES PEOPLE UP!

@ttthrasher: In my opinion, yes, you are looking way too far into it. What ever happened to the days of people actually commenting on the game itself as opposed to how GB presents the content? Most of us still do this, but it seems like every comment section has some complaint(s) about how GB is going about their business.

I guess this is to be expected when you start a premium service, or maybe its just a changing of the times.

So was Alex actually stuck thanks to the level layout the game generated? Because a rogue-like that can generate levels that you aren't able to complete sounds terrible.

@roytheone: He actually wasn't, but it required him to double jump around the platform from a ridge it doesn't look like you can stand on. Alternately he could have stayed alive long enough to get older again. The increase to your jump height is more significant than he makes it sound.

The moral judgement of hunters/predators is rather off putting. Nature needs predators to thin out the prey, otherwise you end up with vegetation being devastated and prey animals starving to death. You know, circle of life. I get it as a mechanic, but it seems... dumb?

Now I need my Tokyo Jungle fix.

The 2.5D pixel diorama look of this is fantastic, except for when it was getting in the way of tiny platforms.

I can see that is their latest blog update from January 23, more than a month before release. This game is not in Early Access though, so it must be expected that they consider this version finished.

Or maybe that means they failed to make their Kickstarter budget work, and are trying to get away with a premature release. Who knows.

If nothing else, this game's got some styyyyyyyylish graphics.
