So this doesn't look anything like Danny Tanner but if you were going for Matthew mccounaghy you may be onto something. I know this is early but 20 minute timed missions to search an area and find a wagon doesn't sound as compelling as I think they wanted the experience to be. It's a shame we aren't gonna get any single player since they are spending so much resources to do all the production for the online. This kinda sucks.

If Bishop from Aliens had a baby with Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks, it would be this version of Danny Tanner.

@xanadu: I do not believe we really discussed the major beats of RDR 2's story during this stream, especially not the ending. The only ending discussion I recall is a brief reference to RDR 1's ending.

Couple of good suggestions here but they definitely created Roger Rees (The Prestige, Robin Hood: Men in Tights).

I think Red Dead 2 will win GOTY, because it seems only Dan and Jeff are not into it. I may be wrong.

I think Abby oversells her ability to mimic people in games...it is still funny though.

I had watched ign play this before watching and this definitely looks better (someone take the controllers from the ign plays live people please) than that and seems like a solid framework but knowing that single player won't see any love is painful. I also don't have ps plus or any friends so I don't know if this would be any fun. I got a 30 day ps plus coupon but I can't use it because I used the 30 day promo when I first got my ps4 and can't use the ps4 pro code because PlayStation only allows 30 days free once.

I just wanna be a cowgirl since besides Arthur being a great protagonist it would have been more fun to play as a western version of Kassandra.

@eazeapeazea: No way. Ben is off the fan wagon and Vinny is in the middle with liking it but not head over heels for it. Abby is going to be the wild card because although she's been playing and liking it we haven't heard her talk extensively about her experience with it.

Brad and Alex will want this to be number 1 but with how the rest of crew feel about it I see it only getting the number 2 spot at most. Hope everyone is ready for more Filibustering Brad, it's going to be Skyrim all over again.

@colourful_hippie: I think Alex will let it fall down the list due to the labor practices of Rockstar. While personally I think this would be a bad reason to knock the game in a GOTY discussion, I could definitely see this happening.

I believe GOTY should be about the quality of the game and not the behavior of the developer, but it's not my list so we'll have to wait and see how that discussion plays out.

@steveurkel: we have a 100+ hour dynamic open world single player game with multiple endings, i dont hate this the way I hated GTA V, that game had NO content other than story missions and it was such a bummer. I'm already on my grind ever since i saw the level 65 covered tent for my online camp!
