I also don’t understand the frustration with Abby’s play style. It felt like I very vaguely remember playing it years ago when it came out, except she did way better at the QTEs than I did.

I think the real problem came is the checkpoints were sometimes very poorly designed for people streaming (thinking of the mine cart in particular). So I can understand her being frustrated and worried how the stream is going.

Excited to see what the next play through is! Also, where are my Film and Forties for this year?!?

@chrisflavin: I think it's more her attitude of "DON'T BACK SEAT GAMER ME!". Also her blatant moment at the end where she was just ignoring the prompts all together and still was confused why she was crashing. She is Game Grumps tier bad. I know most people on GB don't watch for the quality of the player, but I never see this attitude or lack of aptitude from say.. Jeff, Dan, or Brad.

It's crazy to see in the credits 7 coders listed. How things have changed. Of course, that may mean there are 50+ coders Capcom chose not to credit.

The end credits for Resident Evil 4 are super creepy. I suggest looking them up on YouTube if you haven't ever watched them in full.

This whole playthrough had me wincing after the first village section and it wasn't really Abby's wonky high sensitivity aiming, but her utter apathy, sarcastic attitude toward advice, and weird resentment against inane things like a small subset of CRJ fans. If that wasn't bad enough, Vinny taking a stand for chat and his reaction to Dan's idea of butter was way overdramatic. It just comes off as disingenuous instead of funny when all he's been doing for years is entertaining Dan's dumb question bit and dismissing most of the chat/comments and including them in the butt of every other "internet bad" joke.

I watch features like Mass Effect to see the crew's reactions and revisit games without actually replaying them, but I'm starting to realize I should just muster the resolve to replay those games myself instead of sitting through a playthrough that's indifferent, perfunctory, and even mean-spirited in this case.

Catching up with old playdate videos and it's really getting me through this Shelter in Place! XD
