I don't want to be anti-Dan for two series, but it is suspicious how completely unsurprised he was at the outcome - as if he were expecting it. He's usually more effusive and celebratory when things go his way.

When hanging underneath a platform, A is kick, which is what Mario does to go up through the doors, he kicks it from underneath. B is punch with his hand, which is why it drops you down, because he lets go.

I REALLY hope this doesn't cause Dan to revert back to "I am in the lead so I will never bet" mode. Betting like crazy Dan made the series much more interesting.

I don't always agree with Dan about stuff but he is clearly a genius 'cuz the shine gambling has really elevated this series. Great fun!

Well he does 'deserve' it, he has won the most shines through gameplay. He is usually the most competent player in these things.

I tried joining in with char for the first time with this video. Made a spelling mistake, panicked, and closed it. Ugh.

Agreed, I'm on Dan's side in SMS because he's got some skill and the others unfairly pile on him when he tries to be helpful. I'm rooting for the underdog here!

It's completely unreasonable, but when Dan said "There's a Wipeout on Kinect," I felt so depressed. Those Ryan and Vinny Quick Looks of the Wipeout games are such iconic Giant Bomb videos. It just emphasizes how much time has passed. I miss Ryan so much.

What a fantastic episode of a fantastic series with a fantastic crew on a fantastic website playing a fantastic game. Had to pause this, turn on my CRT and play these levels too while catching up with the raid.

This is the kind of energy I love and that makes GBeast my fave. Love to West but this crew just resonates with me more. Should be a three-drink minimum before each recording of this story.

If you stare into the eyeholes of his mask, you will find that Il Piantissimo does indeed have the face of the Running Man from Ocarina of Time (who also played the role of the mailman in Majora's Mask)

@indigozeal: Dan actually strikes me as the guy that would pretend way too hard to convince you he didn't cheat. "No guys I totally didn't cheat! OMG I SWEAR! I would NEVER do that!"

I think his reaction here was just the instinct of the entertainer/performer that Dan is. He said it as a joke and the moment he saw the red coin he knew he had to roll with the situation super hard to make the moment the most entertaining.

People are amazed at the luck Dan seems to have in life . Seems to me the guy always thinks positive, at least about himself. That goes a long way in life people.

People, you're going to sink into a deeply unpleasant black hole if you start crafting elaborate conspiracy theories about Dan's red gumball. Don't go there.

@foxxfireart : Yes i have to reload everything on this website an ungodly amount to get it to work and switch browsers to get the one that will.

If i didnt enjoy the guys as much as i do i wouldn't mind but i've had two brand new laptops that cant load anything easily on here i can't be the only one.

@thepickle: I agree about the flourish. It looks like his hand leaves the controller and goes straight to the machine, so if he happened to have palmed anything, then he would have needed to have had it in his hand the whole time....PLUS, when he twisted the crank, there would have still been a yellow dropped, and even if he left it in the door when the red was revealed, the next shine pulled would have revealed two in the machine. I think the RNG gods just love Dan...if anyone doesn't believe this, then go back and watch some Mario Party Party.
