I may be reading too much into it, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the way Alex keeps suggesting they do something else and is always the first person to ask if they want to be done for the day leads me to believe he may possibly not like Mario Sunshine.

Well we certainly all learnt a lot from this episode. Not what I expected but I'll take it.

The chicken discussion had me literally in tears.

The discussions that take place during these continue to be TOP NOTCH.

I love Mario Sunshine and have played through it multiple times, and Secret of the Underside is by far the most garbage annoying thing in the entire game by a million miles. Everything about being below that village is broken and completely sucks.

Also the cloaca is the all-in-one everything hole. It is to bodily bird holes as the xbox one wants to be to the home entertainment system.

I recently read Do Andriods dream of electric sheep. Its really good i think its better then the movie in terms of story but the movie really visualizes that world but that empathy box was a thing it was a way to set your emotions to anything you want they had many levels which they would dial into like 390 and you feel like you wanna write a book or any number of really complex emotions its pretty neat. They also collect animals kind like trophys and are a status symbles its a great book.

People like Dan playing video games hasn't ruined video games for me.
The sauce people will not ruin that show.

Dan you're 100% wrong on the red shine. There is no "holding state" when you win a shine. You turn the handle and whatever comes out is your possession, and then you traded your possessions for Abby's.

Also, Dan's inability to cry during movies and video games shows a serious lack of empathy. it's not that other people don't know movies are fake, it's that we can understand and internalize their grief/hurt/loss/sadness/pain/etc. and imagine how that would be for us.

Nothing goes in, egg comes out. You can't explain that!

@the_nubster: I dunno about that. Finding things cool also requires empathy, as you have to be emotionally invested in someone or something.

The amount of superiority in Dan's tone as he implied that Vinny might be the kind of person who periscopes trips to fast food joints was impressive.

Vinny talking with Dan about that shine was 100% like a father talking with a little child. Its amazing how similar it is with how both Vinny and Dan act/react there.

I think Pizza and Chinese food are both great, and I enjoy them both at different times. Perhaps Pizza slightly more.

maybe he just doesn't have empathy for fake characters, or you know, maybe he just doesn't cry much. some people watch things differently, that doesn't mean he has lack of empathy.

1) Weird Oversight on Nintendo's part with the vaporisation of Yoshi, they all vaporise green regardless of the yoshi's color. That lack of detail and polish seems so not nintendo.

2) Vinny's definitely senior shine in that scenario, Alex could be sardonic shine, Abby sassy shine, and Dan silly shine; I really hate alliteration, but I committed to it for the bit, anywho.

3) Also, what demonic powers give you the ability to sniff count things like Vinny does near the end of this?

I refuse to accept Alex's inability to learn this game. I played this garbage when I was ten and didn't have nearly as much trouble picking up on these simple (yes) gameplay mechanics.

I commend Dan for trying. He probably knew he wouldn't get the red shine but his competitive side wanted to explore all possibilities for victory.

That Patrick Rothfuss joke was pretty great even if no one else there knew what Vinny was talking about.

Sunshine is not in any world better than 64. Sunshine is a bad Mario game. That might make it better than most other games, but it's still a bad Mario game.

I disagree with Alex about Sherlock except for the ending season, that season was pure garbage.
