I understand that Naughty Dog need to differentiate this remake of The Last of Us from the other one, but something about adding Part 1 to the title really annoys me. Feels like they're devaluing the original by making it seem like the most important thing about it was that it set up a not nearly as good sequel.

I love the Giant Bomb cinematic universe so much. Please make more video game videos and stop making videos that aren't related to games.

Also, Stormgate was the best thing shown here, no joke. I'm ready for a big budget RTS game like Starcraft 2.

If you want to get into One Piece, 100% go for the manga instead of the anime. You can chew through it way faster. The show is plagued by recaps and other filler.

I have to agree with Jeff Grubb, the show overall was kind of stale. Too many Dead Space knockoffs with no actual Dead Space Remake update, and that COD segment did drag. With that said, I'm excited for some of the games, mainly Gotham Knights, TMNT's, The Quarry, and the new Warhammer Marines game. The Last of Us remake seems insulting. Charging 70 bones to play the same game with better graphics.

I expected Jeff Grubb to downplay TLOU and he didn't disappoint.

Somewhat decent show this year. Only stuff that really excited me was Midnight Fight Express and the date finally being revealed for TMNT Shredder's Revenge.

One Piece is definitely one of my biggest "things you love but find impossible to recommend to other people". It's not helped by Oda actually becoming more of a horny teenager with age and how much Studio Toei have stopped giving a shit. Fantastic story though.

Pretty lackluster Keigh3 stream but I'm stoked for that metal rhythm shooter. Genuinely don't know who a TLOU remake is for. Its existence feels offensive and I'm completely apathetic about the original.

Seeing as it was just announced that this long epic is about to end, (one piece is entering the final arc) It's now or never, since the reveal of what one piece is (------no spoiler ill add it when fair and known below--------) will be leaked on twitter and news immediately, making most people who watch the show null in void since you'd know that one piece was (--------lol you thought i knew------) in the first episode.

i don't disagree that the TLOU remake seems a little rash- but when you consider it's getting the accessibility features from TLOU2- that alone is enough to justify its existence. i very much doubt that's the sort of thing you can just retrofit into the ps4 remaster... though $70 is a stretch.

Joining the "One Piece is amazing and also I cannot recommend it to anyone because that's such a time sink" club. Getting into it would have made a great 2020 quarantine project but now that moment's passed. I started watching it in late 2006 and didn't catch up to where the anime/manga was until like mid-2010.

Move over Weed3, it's time for Keigh3.

Callisto looks real good though and I take issue with calling it a Dead Space ripoff. It's by the people who made it and EA didn't let make more. IP ownership is meaningless, creators matter. The Dead Space remake is the ripoff.

I can't remember a major game showcase I ended up caring about less, this was a bunch of trite garbage honestly.
You missed all the good shit in that presentation by not staying for Day of the Devs, FYI.

HOLY SHIT ROUTINE!!!!

It was nice to watch a GB "We Talk Over" stream where the crew was happy and having a good time instead of being down on everything.

Was it wrong that what Geoff Knightley had on stage and talked about seemed...dull? Maybe. I have to go watch it again. I logged on to the "talk over" before the presentation started; yet, half way through the presentation I was already spacing out. None of of it was grabbing me; the last thing I remember was Dwayne The Rock talking about ZOA Energy, then he started talking about Black Adam that REALLY should have been thw focus but I was laughing at thw terrible ZOE energy bullshit.

Call me crazy but I don't think that night of June 9th of The Summer Game Fest was all that interesting - that video feed was not getting me hyped. Its was not the crew commenting on it, they were doing their best, but their commentary was the only interesting part - the content never grabbed me.

Also...that ball was the logo they went with? It is a ball with a very slim, dull tech font on it? Really, Geoff?

For real. Like way better. A huge variety of games that are all different and unique. That game with the murderous spider-train was quite the thing.

I've been putting off watching everyone's SGF videos because the show just looked so boring based on the round-up articles. Watching this now I see my hesitance was warranted. The crew can only make this so interesting because these games are definitely not the kind of games I care about.
