Reminds me of late last year when he let readers donate towards either streaming Fallout 4 or writing; I know he's a human being with a family and a ton of other hobbies, but damn do I just wanna see how that story wraps up.

To that person that wrote in. Buy a PC for Darkest Dungeon. I hate when people advocate for consoles; they objectively cost more in the long run. You don't need a super computer to run modern games. You just don't.

Wow. Vinny is a little looney in this one. They get off topic quicker, stray farther and stay there longer. Weird. I choose to believe that whatever screwed up the podcast recording yesterday actually screwed up lots of other stuff so Vinny is recording this on friday morning after already having been up more than 24 hours, having worked all night fixing whatever broke.

Until there is a better theory, we'll have to consider this the truth.

PS: Spain is basically unstoppable if there is a faith mountain anywhere near them, they will basically just accelerate so fast because of religion. Stack with the One With Nature Pantheon and you get x4 yields from Natural Wonders, Uluru will give you 8 food and 24 faith per turn.

Saying Spain is bad really isn't fair. I remember some consider it top tier, and absolutely beastly if you are willing to cheese (re-roll until wonder) or lucky with wonder. Maybe a little bit of a gamble, but when a Spain game goes well it goes REALLY well. Early discovery of wonder is near game breaking with Spain, and they become natural expansion spot. Coastal bias could be a double edged sword.

I love you guys but this is by far the worst episode yet. Vinny's like he's on speed and comes off as shrill rather than warm and funny like he usually does (I LOVE YOU VINNY BUT PLEASE. PLEASE.)

This isn't meant as hate but rather genuine criticism.

Also, I find it odd that you guys don't even talk about The Witness. You need a "Games we're playing" segment imo.

Amazing episode guys! The Pikachu segment had me laughing out loud in the supermarket like a madman. My vote for the voice of the western Detective Pikachu goes to Jeff Bakalar.

@oni: they already talked about the witness for an hour on the bombcast and it was boring. Why would you want more vague discussions about the witness?
