That boy happens to be one of Robert Altman's kids, who made way more money from the song than his dad ever did for directing the movie that inspired the hit show. Hollywood!

I certainly don't fault anyone for enjoying Mafia III, but it turning out to be way more pulpy and shallow than hyped to believe should have come as a surprise to nobody.

Apparently the recall boxes for those Samsung phones are like triple-insulated fireproof bomb boxes. That's scary.

I have the Galaxy Note 7. I was probably pretty much the worst case scenario in terms of being screwed over, having preordered the phone, receiving it and scarcely a few weeks after doing so being forced to send it back in for recall (having to drive an hour from my rural home to the nearest Verizon store and spending two hours there during the exchange process). Maybe less than two weeks after that, I'm told to turn it in again, and this time I'm not getting a replacement for this phone that I had been eagerly awaiting for months before it's release.

It's such a shame because, like others, I love the phone. It has every feature I could want - external storage, big screen, pressure sensitive stylus, good camera and a really powerful processor. It had become my inseparable companion for running my small business and I'm absolutely devastated that I have to give it up.

Part of me is that idiotic consumer Jeff is talking about - I was very ready to throw caution to the wind and just keep it - after all, it's about a one in a million chance I will experience any problem. However, I'm slowly beginning to accept that the public consciousness around the phone has become so fearful, I think I just having the phone will probably cause me some social problems down the line, not to mention the whole "you can't take it on a plane" thing.

I'm probably going to hang onto it until the Pixel XL is released and just buy myself a stylus to go along with it. In the mean time I treat the phone in much the same way I'd treat a lit candle - just don't charge it while I'm sleeping, don't leave it alone in a room unaccounted for, stop charging it if it's starting to get really hot, and if I ever smell so much as a whiff of smoke, I'm running it out to to the street immediately.

The Galaxy Note 7 is not the Galaxy S 7, so Samsung is fine I'm thinking. Yeah, return that Galaxy Note 7 for sure - don't wait. Go buy another phone with the money you get back or what ever replacement you can get...get whatever you want...just don't keep that device.

I have had three Galaxy S phones, and would never buy a Note sized device...because...err they are too big. The Galaxy Note Smartphones are 'phablets' with big-ass screens, and that's just a niche of their smartphone business I don't think I need. Yeah, again, return it.

Get whatever you want on your own criteria. But, me? Yeah, I'm getting a Galaxy S 8, and won't even worry about it. I've had a Samsung HDTV, a Samsung netbook, a Samsung notebook, a Samsung computer monitor, and those three models of Galaxy S smartphones. Never had an issue with any of those devices and I have foudn them superior to what everyoen else has, so I'm not really going to freak-out. But anyone else...please feel free to do whatever you want to feel safe.

I will throw no shade on anyone who won't buy a Samsung phone, do what is good for your happiness.

Games went from $59.99 to $69.99-$79.99 in Canada, but I think that has more to do with the value of our dollar.

I think a good breakup game is one you can be engulfed by. DOOM (2016) and Thumper are two that come to mind, since they demand so much of you while playing you kind of get caught up in their pace. It really takes your mind off things.

I completely agree with George Clooney as Gomez. Specially if he does it in a Cohen Brothers' style. I thought the exact same thing when I listened to last week's episode but didn't sent an email since I had no idea on who to pick for the rest of the cast.

I didn't really understood how Vinny and Jeff where fine with Barden and Dean Morgan but then Clooney was an instant no-go. I think at least Clooney has the looks and good dark comedy skills, while the other two don't.

Jon Hamm and, specially, Oscar Isaac are really good choices though.

This never showed up in my Pocket Casts feed.

I played through Okami on PS3 after a breakup. It was something I had been wanting to play for a while but never got around to buying, so it was sort of a gift to myself. And it was a nice long adventure, so I had something consistent to look forward to in the evenings for a few weeks.

Obviously Oscar Isaac. OBviously.

My brother loves Funko Pops. He has dozens, possibly close to hundred(s) at this point, and it seems he's been getting an average of one new one per week for the past long while. I can't fucking stand them. They're terrible and a waste of money. But he won't listen. I mean, it's gotten to the point where he bought the blueberry version of Violet from Willy Wonka just because the box said limited special edition. He doesn't give two shits about the character (because WHO DOES?!). Ahhh it's hell.

I am in tears laughing at the "Mr. Sung" segment. Vinny is the goddam best.

I have enjoyed Mafia III and I'm pushing about 55 hours and trying to do 100%. I haven't burned out yet but I can feel the coat strings being pulled and will finish it in a day or 2.
