@madmatt213: Why so little?

I'm on the Rorie schedule I go to bed at around 2am every night and get up for work at 7:30am. I attribute this to working a night shift job all throughout college and getting used to going to sleep at 6-7am and going to work at 6pm.

I go to sleep around 1ish and get up at 6:15.

Well, at least they found a use for Dan on UPF.

It is disorienting watching the feed from his view. I've got a DK2 and I know these feeds aren't representative of the experience, being in the headset is smooth and natural.

With that said, all the VR streams I've seen so far have been physically uncomfortable to watch. Maybe there's some techniques they can work with to minimize the jank (if that's even the word), but until then I'm not sure I'm going to deal with video reviews for this stuff. It's just not an enjoyable thing to watch.

Agreed, I've had it done 3 times due to a messed up nose/sinus configuration. Also while that was horrible, it was a walk in the park compared to the procedure used in turbinate reduction. Good God, that felt like they set off fireworks in my sinuses.

So why isnt Dan in Beast by now? Seems like a better fit.

Trust Brad to get stuck on the only area in Dark Souls where you don't even have to fight the boss to complete it.

I love UPF.

I'm not surprised everyone else in the room pretty much checked out when Brad started playing Destiny, but I really think once he spends more than twenty minutes with this update that he'll dig it. The loot is dropping more than ever, and it's constantly bumping up your light level.

The new challenge mode for Prison of Elders is also much better than the year one version. Three boss fights and you're done. Much more enjoyable than the grind of killing trash mobs and doing repetitive objectives that the original was.

Really sounds like someone fed him bad info and he just decided not to bother. That area is fairly well designed so that it's able to be cleared by just about any possible build to avoid the scenario he thought he was in.

Yeah, it was like 3am and I'd been streaming for close to 20 hours and I just put it down to play something else. I didn't even say anything about getting stuck, doesn't stop some dick from showing up and acting like a huge nerd every time I say anything about Dark Souls though apparently.

Check out how annoyed he seemed when he had to get up to sort out Dan setting himself up for the bike game.

When Dan takes off, lol.

@efesell: you can complete any Souls area with any build. The games have never been designed to shut you down for choosing a build.

When I was playing Aurion myself, even I didn't pay much attention to the text cause it's off to the top right and took me a while until I realised "oh I should go into Aurionic mode to defeat this boss or it'll go on forever!" XD

Jeff originally derailed the conversation with his Hardcore Henry talk. But sure, blame Dan, like you all do.

@swallagoon: That's crazy talk. He went for much more than the average person that doesn't do sports would be able to. And he was on high resistance. Your thighs burn like hell if you don't cycle around and go on to do what he did.

@brad: Nobody can ever post anything about Dark Souls without someone giving the obnoxious nerdy "You found x difficult? Git Gud" response. It's definitely the worst thing about the game.

all these virtual bike things would freak me out, i'd most surely jump off or fall over and knock the whole thing over and hurt myself in the process.

@dovah: A series with Drew playing games from underrepresented countries would be amazing. Drew and Jeff would be perfect for that.

That's a really neat idea, I would absolutely watch that. I really enjoyed Drew's UPF section where he played the Call of Duty game from China, and seeing his game this week was fun too.

We need to start a counter for the number of times Dan talks about the Ace Ventura films. I'm sure he's asked about them at least 3 times recently. Haha.

Oh man, the part where Jason made Dan fly away when his chopper wouldn't go was hilarious. The green screen is such a good idea.

Suddenly I doubt Dan's remarks about being in good shape and being able to easily run for 10 or so miles.

That whole segment was hilarious to watch, though.

Anyone else hear the hum when people are talking? It might be because of the compressors doing something funny. I hope they fix it. @drew Could you take a look? it's only when people are talking and the compressors are letting the sound through.

I watched the first 10 minutes of this while eating and I regret everything. Drew's face at ~4:37 is the most appropriate reaction ever.

Skipped ahead when Destiny started up and went right to a part where Brad was whispering "stop playing Destiny," and I AGREE. I wouldn't mind if they never fired that thing up again.
