This is legit most exiting thing to happen this year.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that some people like change, and some people do not.

It's a great idea. More upright, more alert. I couldn't do a 3 hour steam on a couch - I'd fall asleep.

I forgot that I renewed my subscription. Here we go again.

So, what happens when people come around to visit..? They just sit on the side? I like the desk.. just seems off.

I get the functional reasoning behind it. Stay awake, but if you're falling asleep while doing a stream, maybe cut the time down?

@unastrike Aldi is a great store that sells quality products! They do not sell rejected, dented food. The offer high quality (usually) Europeon-made foods and products at low costs.

Man, the comments here seem more divided than America.

It's a desk. It's new. It's different. As long as the content is still enjoyable, which I don't see changing, I'm down with the desk.

If someone seriously can't tell the difference between GiantBomb and, say, IGN because of a dang *desk*, I'm going to say that you weren't paying any attention to either of those websites, anyway.

holy overreaction. It's a desk, we don't come to the site for a couch. East has a desk too. I'm sure as soon as they decorate the walls and play with the camera angles it will be alright, not that it isn't fine now

Something about the crew going off camera and switching off the light on their way is painfully nostalgic.

This looked like the most professional newscast ever. Symmetrical and everything.

@sicamore: agreed, first thing I thought. I was assuming the desk was only for Ranking Of Fighters, the couch setup seems better for everything else...

No...nope...don't like the desk. They look too much like a 'real' website. Next thing there will be a dress code, a ban on knives...WE MUST STOP THE PROFESSIONALISM HERE AND NOW!

But the desk could be good for other things, great E3 set.
