I still play my PS2 almost as much as my Wii.  I can't go into to Gamestop without browsing PS2 games and often times I will pick one up for $5-$15.  I already own one and so does my daughter and there are so many I am sure I will be able to find a replacement for years to come.  I personally hope as long as people are buying it they keep making it.

Why the hell would they "move on, like microsoft and nintendo" when the thing is still selling quite well? They hardly put any time into it and it still makes them money, so there's no reason for them to quit as long as people are willing to buy them.

 Nintendo made money off of every GameCube sold starting in, like 2003 or 4.  Microsoft lost money on every Xbox sold by the time they killed it in its sleep.  So arguably Nintendo didn't fail.

No, I was referring to Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, the Personas, Final Fantasies X and XII, Shinobi, Gitaroo Man, Odin Sphere, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Ape Escapes 2 and 3 and a ton more games I'm forgetting because the system had a metric fuckton of incredible exclusive games as I just said, and that's not to mention that the majority of third-party games were built and optimized for the system, just like the majority are built and optimized for the 360 now.  And considering I find Halo to be incredibly overrated, it's not like saying "THE EKZBAWKZ HAD HALO SO STFU" is going to win me over because my response is going to be: "so the fuck what?  I was playing Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2 and Counter-Strike, all three of which are better games."
