Spider-man is back in this child-friendly adventure. 0

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe throws you into the shoes... or leggings of Spider-Man in this far-fetched adventure. Spider-Man must set out to rescue villains such as Venom and Doc Ock who have been hypnotised by a mysterious mastermind who is using shards from a meteor crash to brainwash an array of Spider-Man's greatest enemies. While you journey through each level, you will encounter enemies called Phantoms who vary in size from the small minions to huge, bulking beasts. These enemies are just a...

Friend or Foe is a beat'em up that gets tiring fairly quickly. 0

You play as Spider-Man of course, and can switch between him or your sidekick of which there are 14. I only played SM because he was the most interesting, I just chose my favorite villains to fill in as side-kick. The story doesn't matter, as we all know. All you have to understand is that there are 6 worlds, each world featuring 4 levels, and the same enemies over and over. It offers easy pick-up and play combat, a fair amount of variety as far as moves go, and the option for a second player t...

Spidey for kids, but a lot of fun! 0

Spider-Man Friend or Foe is a 1-2 player beat em up similar to Marvel Ultimate Alliance only you play as characters from the Spider-Man universe. That is an easy way to describe this game. It's a lot like Marvel Ultimate Alliance only you play as two characters at a time (instead of 4), and it's a sort of dumbed down version of the game made for a younger audience. You can play as Spidey, or several allies and villains in the Spideyverse. Venom, Blade, Iron Fist, Silver Sable, Prowler, Black Cat...

A Spider-Man game that is fun for the whole family 0

I could say that this game's graphics look a little outdated or that the game is too simplistic and I can see that I just said that. But this is not what counts when looking at this game. This game was created to please young Spider-Man fans and I have to say mission accomplished. The gameplay is on the simple side but in a good way. No need to worry about how to orient the camera, the game does it for you and quite nicely. the variety of plyable characters and the fact that a second player can ju...

    Half a Marvel 0

Fast start, slow finish Spider-Man enters in a flash and the game starts off well; fast, fun and witty. Both the action and general feel hits the Spider-Man cartoon notes great. Attacks are flashy and extreme but all very accessible. More and more characters join in along the way, but the fun slows down and feels a little too plain to really stand out in the end.All flash, no finishEven though both character choice and attacks are plenty and varied, button-mashing will clear most screens out wit...
