I always come back to it.
I seriously lost to someone that made nothing but marines and stim a moved up my ramp. I was trying to be fancy and go blink stalker. I had like 15 when it started. By the time I realized he was attacking me like 8 of them were already dead.
sighhhh
I did make carriers in a game though. That was fun.

I really do hate this game sometimes but
"I love the game so much simply because it's based on pure skill, no luck involved. You know that every loss is only your fault, but whenever you win it feels satisfying as hell. "
Yeah pretty much this. Sucks I'm in Phoenix for a week and can't play it aughhh
Same.
I swear I will never play again after losing all my marines to banelings, or lose to yet another colossus death ball. But I do, and rage even more after losing to it again. Feels good though when I finally figure something out and win, or even just not make the dumb mistakes I usually do.
That blink stalker is pretty good IF you can micro them well and macro at the same time, which requires a good amount of practicing. Maybe if you are more patient it can become your specialty.
Myself, I find it difficult enough trying to get better at macro. I'll try fancy stuff when I can keep building stuff non-stop.
Blink Stalkers looks like a lot of fun to play. As a Terran, it almost makes me want to switch races... Maybe I just have a fascination with teleporting. :P
Aw shit, I must've had several windows open and meant to post in the Hyperion Radio podcast thread.
Stimmed marines? Yeesh. Those things'll eat stalkers up. Try Zealots (with speed, if you can get it fast) or High Templars. Too many toss players rely exclusively on colossi for crowd control while neglecting the power of a few well placed storms.
That, or switch to zerg. Banelings can be pumped out way before he's researched stims. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzMhh8zhTiY
With some proper micro, yer damn right they'll eat stuff up.
When I face Terrans who know how to micro and shield their marines from banelings, my options are:
1-surround with lings before banelings get within marine rifle range
2-Fungal. Done.
3-Just have superior macro thanks to 14 hatch w/ Muta contain so that I can just A-click a pack of a bajillion lings'n' banes with some ultras thrown in (late game).
Seeing as you're toss. Well...hmm..shit. Storms? Colossi? charge lots? Charge lots w/ blink stalkers? I dunno.
