I would like to see Alpha Centauri, PSI-OPS and the FreeSpace series. Also I would like to see the Descent series remade in HD and put on steam for cheap.
VVVVVV, Singularity, Anachronox, Krush Kill 'N Destroy Extreme, KKND 2 and Daikatana.
Singularity isn't on european Steam anymore for some reason, the other's I'd like either on Steam or GOG (where I'd be guaranteed proper support for modern OSes).
VVVVVV would probably have to be Steam since it's a new game.
Yes, I'd like to play Daikatana, no matter how bad it is, as long as it costs less than 5 euros. The other games are supposed to be genuinely good games.

The Freespace games are at Good Old Games. I bought Freespace 2 a while back, and holy crap is it ever great!

Mostly I agree with this. Of course not all games are meant to be played on PC. But the ones that plays just fine on the PC and it's none-progressive "controllers" should be on Steam.
