    Overview

    Transformers: Prime - The Game is a sci-fi third-person beat-'em-up game developed by Now Production (Altron for the DS version) and published by Activision for the Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo DS on October 30, 2012. It was later released for the Wii U (as Transformers: Prime) on November 18, 2012.

    It is based on the 2010-2013 CGI animated series Transformers: Prime (itself part of the Transformers media franchise), telling a side-story where the Autobots (led by Optimus Prime) must prevent the Decepticons (led by Megatron) from restoring the ancient Cybertronian Thunderwing to its full power.
