The Magnum Opus of Gaming
I play games 2 times seldomly. The only ones i have have been all of the Sly Cooper games (Sly 4????) and Half life 2. Ill add Uncharted 2 to that list. This game is 99.99% perfect, and should be played by every gamer at one point in their life. This is the epitome of "Next Generation" Gaming. The story finds our hero Nathan Drake on a quest to find Shambala (El Dorado) and the promise of extreme wealth with a few other characters along for the ride like the oddly cute Chloe and the stubborn older gentlemen Sully. But not only is the story fantastic, everything you do through the story is also noteworthy.You will climb ruins with an elegant climbing and freeflowing movement system, Punch and Shoot with a exemplary cover system and melee combat system, and solve simple yet rewarding puzzles with ease. I cant say enough about the graphics. Its like you took a picture of a tropical rainforest, a snowy mountain top, or a picture esque rundown city, and put an animated character throughout. it plays seemlessly and looks seemless as well. The Multiplayer is also something to write home about. It uses the same kind of "perks" system as Call of Duty or any other modern shooter of today, and superimposes that into a kind of free form action run and gun multiplayer, with many modes to shoot and steal treasure through. Co-op is also excellent: With 2 other players you can play through some of the most intense moments of the single player game (Bummer no full story...). Do yourself a favor and reward great game design people. Pick this one up. i cant think of a better game this console generation
