Are patently insane.
This is...
Egregious.
Which is why I am having Subway for my dinner tonight. I will not miss out on the possibility to deck my Nathan Drake in the most gaudy advertisement I've ever seen.

Are patently insane.
I eat at Subway down at college pretty much every day already, but I don't usually buy the largest drink size. I also don't bring my games with me to college. Fall break is, however, coming soon. I guess I could spend it alternating between Dark Souls and the U3 multiplayer. Yeah, that actually sounds like the perfect break to me.
I totally messed this up and got a bag of harvest chips that just got me the theme and not the multiplayer. You have to get the 32oz. drink to get multiplayer.
If anyone has a spare code could they please PM me because we dont get this promotion in the UK... :)
Oh, get over it. It's the new way to do promotions. The only difference between what's happening now and what's been happening for the past fifteen-twenty-and-then-some years is that consumers are directly getting stuff from promotions of big games instead of entering game-branded/stuff-co-branded sweepstakes.
After having Mountain Dew and Doritos being removed from the US release of Peace Walker along with Fanta and KFC from Phantasy Star Portable 2 I am so glad Sony did this for the demo.
Also remember that this is for the demo period only and that only the experience/boosters and special Naughty Dog guns carry over to the final game.

But it's still a little sad to see this game go down this path.
It's fine to go down the blue yak-men path but not fine to have a brand on a tshirt?
Subway probably serves more people a day than the total amount of people that would buy Uncharted. This is good advertising for Naughty Dog. What does it cost them? Some art assets and a bunch of posters and cups. I bet Naughty Dog is reaching a huge audience for way less than what a TV ad campaign costs.
Oh hey, I didn't know that! That's a huge relief. That really makes this whole thing sit a lot better with me.Also remember that this is for the demo period only and that only the experience/boosters and special Naughty Dog guns carry over to the final game.
I have no doubt that it is a blissful, mutually beneficial union. But that doesn't make it any less dumb.@Akrid said:

Well, yes. I already explained that I am a hypocrite.@Akrid: So you're complaining about a promotion you're more than willing to participate in?
I wonder if this will stay in the final game. I get the feeling that the Naughty Dog folks care enough about the integrity of something that they've spent their lives working on. I wouldn't be surprised if they just did this to get some ad revenue while the game is still in beta, and strictly keep it a beta promotion.
When it's in the actual final game that it will really bother me.
Idk about you people, but either my connection has turned into complete shit or they made some drastic changes to the mulitplayer since the beta back in July. The beta( we are talking beta now) was really good and fun, but this 'newer' beta is not fun and turned into a third person COD.
Im not the best Uncharted player in the world, but my i am good, i know k/d isnt important to some people and doesn't necessarily show 'skill', but its the only way I can get my point across, but my k/d in U2 and even the beta was average around 3/1, but now im lucky to get 1/1, most of the time going negative....and it has nothing to do with skill and you dont just get bad at something overnight unless something changes. Yes, the core gameplay is the same, but I used to drop somebody with half a clip with an AK47, now i can barely kill someone with a full clip( and yes im hitting them as the reticle and click indicates) but i get dropped in 3 or 4 shots with the same gun and dont even get me started on the inconsistent melee.....
What the hell happened?

This version really is horrid compared to the July beta. It doesn't feel the same at all, and I'm not someone who generally opposes change, but they've really changed it for the worse.
Really not enjoyable. And I loved the July beta version so much. Hugely disappointed.
Pretty much what i said in the post above you. Glad someone agrees
It kills me that this premotion is not available in Canada. I would love to be playing the uncharted multiplayer for the next month. It is amazing.
I would by a subway beverage to get this, their are subways in canada, but they don't have codes in canada :(
Wish I like, had a friend in america who could get me a code.
@cstrang: I don't mind promotions in general. It's just that this one is just plain bad.I thought that was hilarious when I saw it on TV.
I can suck it up, and I will. But if this is the new way, then that kind of sucks. Wouldn't you agree? Do you honestly want to see in-game ads, ever? Especially anything this obtuse.
This is also great, by the way:

Keep searching!
I'm from Europe and a random duder decided to give me one of his codes. : )
Good luck!
Yeah the July beta was so perfect. I never played the UC2 multiplayer, but I was planning on playing the UC3 multiplayer forever. Hopefully Naughty Dog listens to all the complaints and just rolls back to the beta version again. This version really is horrid compared to the July beta.
