Well that looked like crap.

I'm not worried about the visuals. I'm sure that'll be tightened up significantly before launch... what I don't get is why you have a quake-style pace on a console.  I don't care how good you are with a controller, that style of gameplay simply isn't fun with that type of control.  
 
Throw that on PC with the cryengine 3, and now we're in business.  Kinda looks like a successor to the old-style unreal tournament games. I could get into that.

It looks like a decent game, good to see another game using the Cry Engine 3 and I hope more use it as well. However since I don't care about arena style games I will give Nexuiz a miss.

I think I'll just get Crysis 2 thanks. 
 
EDIT: Looks like UT3 with a faster move speed... And I love the way the trailer was just a load of missing for a whole minute.

Too many effect, be distracting you cant see whats going on.

Looks more like Unreal Tournament than Quake which is weird when the original Nexuiz is a Quake clone.  
Not too interested beacuse I like Warsow more anyway.

Has a UT2K4 / Q3 Arena feel to it. Color me interested.

I can't believe all the people who say this looks ANYTHING like Halo. To all of you who are thinking this looks like Halo, go look up two games called "Unreal Tournament" and "Quake 3"

Anyone honestly saying that this game looks awful obviously have issues with old school shooters like Quake 3, UT2004, and others of the sort. 
 
Moreover, this is an OLD mod of the Quake games.  Pretty sure the guys detailed the hell out of this on one of the Bombcast before the Quake TNT.  THAT is why it has a Quake-like pace to it.  It also happens to be fucking awesome.
