Hmmm, the entire game takes place on Christmas Eve.

Batman's true enemy is Shane Black Mask.

As in "great"? Yeah.

Apparently the same date (Oct 25). Not sure why they haven't shown that.

This is a much better sell for the game. Not sure why they put out a 17 minute video that made almost not distinctions from Arkham City a few days ago, but this makes me interested again.

Arkham Origins will be to Christmas video games as Die Hard is to Christmas movies!

Yes! Can't wait to play this. Even if it's just more of the same Batman, that's all I want. Glad they didn't show the joker being around too, love having Black Mask as the main villain.

Not really, it looks like a needless sequel/money-grab just like this year's Gears, God of War, and Saints Row. Some people are happy playing the same game with different cutscenes and some people aren't.

It's not cynical to say that it looks like another batman game, because it does. Just like the new Assassins Creed or the new CoD.

Haters will hate. Sequels aren't for everyone. I find the annual COD dull, but I'll play Batman and Assassin's Creed anytime. The Arkham games have all been great thus far, so I'll stick with the franchise as long as the quality is there. Besides, I've wanted to glide around the entirety of Gotham City since Arkham Asylum.

Oh, man. Now I wish Peter Sellers had actually gotten to play Alfred. He would have been amazing. He'd obviously need to constantly test him, too. By attacking him in the middle of the night out of nowhere.

Looks, neat, but I find the whole Xmas winter setting depressing, because that will be coming too soon irl. Man, Chicago weather sucks. Decent spring weather didn't arrive until early May, and yesterday morning I was already having to scrap off my windshield.

@sixpin: I think that was Firefly, not Killer Moth. Outside of that tiny reference in Arkham Asylum I don't recall that Moth's had any presence in this 'verse. I'd be interested in seeing what they could do with him too, though.

I'm pretty excited for this. I'm curious to see how the new developers handle everything. Although, I still plan on waiting until Black Friday to pick it up.
