I thought it was weird that Mass Effect 2 was ported to the PS3 despite the prior game not being on the system.

Cool that Nintendo saved it from cancellation. Too bad I probably won't have the ability to play it, at least not for a while. Then again maybe it won't be out until after the first price drop. The possibilities are endless!

hmm, I wonder how long this'll be exclusive to Wii U; the original Bayonetta was on PS3 and 360 so it'd be crazy not to bring it to those consoles or their successors when they have an established fan-base there. Not to mention, the Wii U is anything but a guaranteed success sot Platinum would only be fucking themselves if they never put it on anything else.

Rayman Legends, and now Bayonetta 2 as Wii U exclusives!

Can't wait for the sweet, tearful meltdowns as people struggle with their feelings to begrudgingly get a Wii U for these games.

Bugger it, I'm saying it..... I bloody well despised the original Bayonetta. It was the last game I bought because of reviews. I no longer read reviews and base purchases on the way it's talked about on podcasts, and my personal 'hunch'.

Oh man I feel so bad for Bayonetta, Platinum Games, and Sega. The Wii U is gonna tank in sales worse than the 3DS for a while and this great game is gonna get caught during the shit sale period. Just like Ghost Recon for 3DS. Best game on 3DS launch and still one of the better games for the system. Now that 3DS has a decent library and people finally picked it up no one is going back to grab GR.

Reminds me of when a company releases a great game on a unpopular system and then the company decides " The game isn't popular so we will never make another one of that type" even though it's the consoles fault for selling terrible.

RIP Bayonetta. I had such high hopes for a sequel. I';m sure you will be amazing and it's sad that your sales will bomb because of something out of your control.

The teaser for Bayonetta 2 looks awesome. But one question: Why the Wii U? Where's the official announcement for Playstation 4 or XBOX 720? And I wonder if it's necessary if the WII U comes out before Black Friday.

Bah, I loved Bayonetta on my 360. I'm bummed that it's a WiiU exclusive, because I have no plans on purchasing one. I'm hoping that it will see release on the other consoles.

This should definitely win Giant Bomb's 2013 "Most Graphics" award.

Dammit, now I gotta buy one.

That was enough of a tease to get me disappointed that it's on WiiU.

Yep. I wish Nintendo had opted to compete head-on with the next run of consoles as opposed to the current one. Their system will be third tier again by fall '13. I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the N64 and it's not for lack of enthusiasm about Nintendo as a software developer or a company in general. It's that they're lagging behind the competition in areas I care about and appear here to be once again lining themselves up for status as underpowered and, as a result, undersupported by third party, console.

Don't like this at all, please don't screw this amazing game up Nintendo.

I enjoyed bayonetta a lot but the WiiU is to much for to little. Also kind of worried for platinum as this really reduces the audience for the game and could hurt sales badly. I'll just keep hoping for a port

guess I'm buying a Wii-U. Probably not right away, but I think I have to play this game. Loved Bayonetta on the 360.

I liked Bayonetta, but not enough to buy a gimmicky console for the sequel.

Considering how terrible launch titles generally are this would be fairly amazing if it came out fast enough. That said it probably still won't sell that well, Platinum's extraordinarily high production values not withstanding.

Hmm.. Both Bayonetta 2 and Rayman Legends being exclusives to Wii U.. It's like they know exactly what it would take to make me buy one.
