Hmm, I liked Star Lancer so I may be into this but not sure what they beat-em-uppy bits were all about. We shall see. Also, not a fan of the use of music in this trailer.

Still not first. You can get this one by being annoying, right?!

More space stuff to shoo in space: yay! First game was okay, it was fun in space, but a bit of a grind overall.

It looked pretty good until the people had to animate.

This might be neat... I loved the Wing Commander / Star Lancer games back-in-the-day!  Hope this is budget priced though.

What happened to the space sim genre? Why has it faded away to such a large extent? With the rise of quality open-world games, you'd think space sims should be ready for a resurgence.

This was a major disappointment the first time around, and I doubt switching to consoles is gonna fix anything. sigh....

I played Darkstar One.  It really isn't very good at all.
 
It is several orders of magnitude worse than Freelancer.

This game was totally balls on the PC, 4 years ago. I doubt a port job will make it better.

Never even heard of this. Doesn't look very interesting.

I hope the horrible game-breaking roadblocks that were the turret missions are gone or fixed.

Well the trailer made me want to dig out my copy of Elite. Sadly it didn't make me want to play their game.

Looks kind of dated, but that doesn't deter me from games most of the time.

Is this that one that Bruce Campbell voiced? Because I heard that was alright!

If you asked me a week ago if another Darkstar game was in progress, I would have said 'no way'. But hey, now maybe there's a Nexus the Jupiter Incident or Freelancer sequel on the way too.

You know your game has issues when you can't even fake a decent frame rate for the trailer.

Looks a bit too..i dont know, old school makes it sound like old style games are bad, but this doesnt look too good

At first I thought it was a new sequel to the original, find its just a port. Partly makes me sad, but it just makes me want a Freelancer 2 or something

I've actually heard good things about this game, not great, but good.

I remember playing Darkstar one on the PC it was pretty cool!

I like the calm parts of this trailer a lot better than the exploding parts.

I have been yearning for a new Space Combat Sim, but I kinda wanna play it on my PC...with a Joystiq...and Keyboard.

It's basically a really streamlined Freelancer with better graphics. Also you can only use one ship in the whole game.

Liked the original, but this trailer kind of makes the remake look like crap

Don't know what to think.  If it's < $60 might be interested. Hate the way they 
decided to rock out the commercial. Who the fuck is in charge of the music?
 
Will Mass Effect have competition?

OMG Darkstar game would be fun, especially in arguing with smart bombs minigame.

I actually liked this game on the PC.  It wasn't as good as Freelancer but it was good.
