And we continue the fine tradition of ST games having the graphical fidelity of TOS. Whoever handles the ST licenses really doesn't get that devs require a budget and time. They rather infamously gave a small studio of 25 people 18 months to bang together a ST MMO, yet seemingly no lessons were learned from the outcome of that piss-take.

Is this how Michael Dorn finally gets to be Captain?

Wait, which MMO? Because if that's what resulted in Star Trek Online they did a pretty good job all things considered.

Also, it makes me wish that Geordi had said "C'mon Y'all" to the rest of the crew at some point during the series run

STO had a kernel of a good idea with the space combat (sadly, every other capital ship combat game out there makes the mistake of trying to be an FPS, rather than letting you lock-on and focus on piloting and complex buff cycles) but the rest of that game has been a joke since day one and has only gotten worse as PWE/Cryptic has gotten greedier (they've just announced two more console port jobs after they recently dropped OSX players cold and continue to ignore almost every low-level bug in the Windows version, ugh).

Lear Burton is amazing...I don't know if the star trek game is there yet, but the concept of crew piloted ships sounds alright....what if they just did this star trek game like a VR version of FTL but with every crew member is a real person with a VR headset and everyone can swap rolls based on the current situation.

Pfft. And I thought getting four gameboys together for Four Swords was hard.

Hmm bit bummed they went with the aesthetics of the reboot. Well always can sell other series as DLC I guess.

Karl Urban is awesome, and so is Levar. But Karl needs to go make a new Dredd sequel and stop doing ads!
