Glad to hear they're working on another game mode other than versus where you play as the infected. Maybe a Survival type game? I didn't get this game at first but after they started showing stuff I really want to play it.

Yea over here in the States it doesn't mean anything, so it probably wasn't discussed during the design of the box art. "

I love that Ryan keeps putting the microphone closer and closer to his face during the interview. Made me laugh. It was like he was trying to feed it to him while he was talking.

Such a load a crap about the "new director" being so hard to implement in DLC.

The original director was nothing more than an overrated spawning script and was quite easily recreated by community members.  They're hyping the damn thing like it's much more than it actually is.

Bullshit PR aside, I haven't decided on this game yet.  On one hand I hate the shift to the new atmosphere (Characters, Weapons and Environments all feel a bit more light-hearted, particularly the melee weapons) but I do like what they've done with the new special infected and the uncommon common.

Chet reminds me of Tom Hanks for some reason. But yeah, this game looks promising.

also valve you finish another game before HL2 Episode 3? wtf!

I thought the first game was pretty over rated, cant say I'm excited for the sequel.
Still I'm sure once my buddies start pming me 'omg dood you need to get L4D2!!!!!!' I'll end up having to get it :p

The interviewee would seriously make a great candidate for the slowdown-drunk videos.  He's nearly there already.

Hehe, he dodged the Left 4 Dead 2 naming thing pretty well. Actually this has got me a lot more interested in L4D2 now. If the original 4 make some sort of cameo, that would be so awesome, too.

Am I the only one that think it's too early ?. The first game was good but come on it was pretty thinly spread even with the ai director thing

I like that they give the characters distinct personalities rather than trying to make them generic.  Helps make things a bit more immersive, even if that's not the main goal of a game like this.
