It is cool that this is being released relatively shortly after I finished Witcher 3, but now I'm not sure if I'll pull myself away from MGSV to jump back to it. I'll probably just hold off until both expansions are out and jump back in at some point next year. Maybe.

Yah I had the same thought. When I played Witcher 3 I loved it, but the idea of going back to it at this point seems not likely. Like you said, maybe way down the road I'll revisit, for now my Witching days are behind me.

Cool, now I just need to finish The Witcher 3.

Well hopefully they patch some of the quest bugs before releasing this dlc, because i still can't finish the main story.

Teaser was meh. But still bought the expansion, because witchaaa, and you never not buy anything from CDPR.

Who's the character that appears at the end of the teaser? He looks very familiar. Does he appear somewhere in the main game?

The teaser was meh, but apparently Shani from the first game makes an appearance in this expansion, and they're introducing a new system called "Runewords" that supposedly affects different aspects of the gameplay. I loved this game, so I'm definitely getting this at some point.

I will definitely replay it but I think I am just going to wait for all the DLC to do a full new game +. That's not a slight to Witcher 3 at all I played it for 130 hours and loved it. I just want to get all the new content in one run with some different choices from Witcher 2 and in the game.

Yeah the teaser isn't great but I think the face issue old Geralt has is supposed to be a big deal. I heard this will have some new system in the game and I think that's it. I'm excited and have faith in more WItcher 3.

I played most of Witcher 1 and don't remember a ton unfortunately besides the Salamanders and some of the broad strokes.

I guess the Shani romance will be a one night stand seeing as the quests are for 30+ level characters. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to more Witcher 3 quests. Personal GOTY for sure.

It's one of the first characters you meet in the main story. He's in the White Orchard tavern and tells you about Yennefer (and also mentions the Man Of Glass who is one of the main characters in the expansion).

Has CDPR said anything about making just the Gwent decks available? People (me) have bought the season pass already and don't need to own 2 DLCs. But those Gwent cards... mmmm...

I have had The Witcher 3 since launch and I'm still nowhere near completing it. I'll be lucky if I finish it before Fallout comes out, so I think finishing it before the release of this expansion is out of the question.

I am a little disappointed that the expansion isn't just about sailing a boat around Skellige.

Yay. I just started on a New Game+ the other day. Rocking a level 39 Geralt and slicing fools up like they owe me money. Looking forward to this big time.

I need to finish this game still and MGSV has pushed that back even further.

OH I knew it was somebody from the game but i couldn't put my finger on who. Crazy that it's such a minor character from what's essentially the tutorial mission of the game lol.

Unless this DLC is groundbreaking and totally new crazy content. I think there is enough in the base games to warrant only one playthrough. I finished the game and after finishing the story I felt good with just having it on my shelf

Played many many hours of Wither 3 and the way I play I'm not even close to completing it. Got derailed by Batman and now Metal Gear.

Man, I bought the season pass but I am never ever going to play this probably :') I have the game since launch and Im still like lvl 14

for sure. after all the overhyped stuff last year this year can still get even better. this year still has halo and fallout 4.. tomb raider might be good too.
