I am still puzzled by this game's existence.

Liking the look and the characters so far. Pretty excited for this.

The lip sync seems really hit and miss. Some of the voices also sound disconnected from the characters that are speaking. Still in development, but that really bothered me.

That actually made me excited for this game. The Jack character isnt one I'm crazy about but the rest of the character look like they could be pretty fun to be around.

Hell I'll play this. I warmed Jack in the PS and it did some really neat setting up for the future of the world so I'm glad this is set post 2. Yeah, I'm excited!

@slickdasani: The lip-sync always throws me off for the first few minutes when I boot-up a Telltale game. The stellar voice acting and great storytelling usually make me forget pretty quickly though.

Cool, maybe the writing won't be intolerable in this one. Different genres of games taking place in the same universe are rad. There should be more.

I like the Borderlands storyline so far. Based on the ending of Pre-Sequel, it will all come together in Borderlands 3.

No thanks. The storytelling and characters were the worst part of Borderlands. Handsome Jack is awful.

There was one great moment at the PAX demo. Otherwise it was really dull and oddly self serious. Even the bandits acted like bandits and not crazy people.

When does this take place? Who are the main characters? Did anyone care about the story in Borderlands?

Really? Do you really need to be dismissive about everything that you personally don't like? Everybody has different tastes, no need to be snarky about it.

This looks pretty good actually. Since you are not a vault hunter that can slaughter everything and who only cares about leveling up and loot so now you get to see the environment in different light.

This looks like it could be good, surprisingly, but still not something I'm really interested in playing.

I'll just sit over here, quietly waiting for their Game of Thrones series.

Kinda unclear what the gameplay itself is gonna be like.

Also weird that we have a trailer for this but not for the Game of Thrones game releasing this year. I wonder what's the reason for that.

Alright, I didn't really care about the stories of Borderlands when I was playing them, but also I really want to play this.

Telltale made me interested in The Walking Dead when I could have literally not given less of a fuck about that franchise or zombies in general prior, so I have no doubt they can pull off an entertaining game set in the Borderlands universe. (I'm definitely way more interested in this than Game of Thrones.) Hopefully this game will get back to some of their more humorous point and click roots. Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us were great and all, but I miss Sam and Max.

Doesn't look terrible, apart from when Jack is on screen and when Jack speaks. Hopefully that won't happen too much considering the useless, chronically unfunny, piece of trash character is dead. I look forward to trying it out.

The story and characters from the Borderlands games get routinely shit on by the press but I actually do like them. So I'm hoping this turns out great.

Well, considering that in the pre-sequel we were promised there'd be no Internet memes...

I would go in expecting the worst and rather be surprised if it has decent writing.

So very much this, the colorful and goofy humor potential of Borderlands is way more up my alley than the dour, naval gazing nature of TWD or Thrones.

Also, man, Telltale is a great studio for a lot of things and I'm glad they're getting pretty popular now, but they haven't made a real adventure game since Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse. I'm ok with these QTE Dialog/Decision games, but I miss having real inventories and actual puzzles to solve.

You know what, I'm tried of handsome Jack too, but this seems way better than that. Characters seem much more fleshed out, humor is less Butt Stallion, yeah, I might check that out.

Though I wouldn't say I'm especially engaged in the narrative of the games, I do really like the world and its hyper-violent Mad Max-esque facsimile. I find all of the weapon corporations and their varying degrees of evil interesting, too. Even when the games aren't making me laugh out loud (which they have done many times), I appreciate the light-hearted nature of it all and there's oodles of personality. From the way the bandits all keep spouting random pop-culture references to all of the crazy wildlife like spiderants -- it's definitely a world I've inevitably found myself getting engaged in.

As such, the idea behind being able to check out this world from such a different perspective like this has me excited.

I enjoy the stories and characters of the Borderlands games. Am I an idiot or something?
