Came here just to say the gameplay reminded me of the SNES Donkey Kong games (the only ones I played, to be fair). Looks like a fun platformer if nothing else.

For wanting to save Shell City, Tembo sure does destroy a lot of it in that trailer.

I'm pretty sure this used to be an Air Force Gator game.

Weird, totally expected it to be a mobile game or 3DS at best.

Love the name, but the trailer doesn't make it seem very interesting. Still holding out hope because Drill Dozer is a fantastic game, so I automatically trust any non-Pokemon Game Freak endeavor.

I'm totally behind this! Game Freak's platformers always have a unique enthusiasm.

I'm amazed Game Freak makes anything other than Pokemon, it's so long ago that i forgot Drill Dozer was them. This looks fun, anyway, but it also looks like an automatic runner kind of mobile game.

That first helicopter looks like a peanut microphone. Cool game.

Sometimes I just wish Game Freak made a sequel to Mendel Palace.

The gameplay is giving me a somewhat Treasure-esque platformer vibe... like Gunstar Heroes or Dynamite Headdy. Maybe a bit of a Rocket Knight Adventures vibe, too (even though that's not Treasure).

This is the closest we'll ever get to an Air Force Gator video game.

I played this today at Rezzed. I was kind of surprised to see it there, considering the game was only just recently announced and Rezzed is a smallish indie show in a pokey part of London, but I gave it a shot. It plays somewhat like a 2D Sonic game in that there is a lot of platforming mixed with going really fast, although neither require the kind of dexterity needed to master the hedgehog. There's still some challenge to it though, with some of the tougher enemy types requiring decent timing to defeat, and you get a lot of different moves to help deal with them. The visuals and sound are excellent, and they really run with the fact that you're an elephant in a ridiculously fun way.
