The Bocce Revolution Starts Now (Or, Actually, Later This Week)

Man, I hope this game comes with a digital soundtrack on Steam that has that song included.

Man, I used to love playing bocce in the back yard of my friend's grandmother's house when I was a kid.

Help me out here people, I am certain I played some action-RPG or action-adventure game that had a bocce ball minigame in it. I wanna say it was an Assassin's Creed, but I think that's my brain making a false connection due to bocce being Italian.

Found it! Turns out it was indeed an Assassin's Creed game (score one for memory), but ironically not one set in Italy. It was AC3, specially you play the English variant called "bowls", but it's roughly the same game.

Too bad about that doping scandal though, and then the first and second place teams were accused of collusion? I lost all faith in the Bocce e-Sports scene after that.

I doubt Bocce will ever get a better game than the one in Sports Champions for PS3 (which uses the Move controller). It was actually quite good.

I was going to say the same thing. The Bocce game in Sports Champions was excellent. All this trailer did was make me want to play that.

Frog Fractions 2 had better be amazing, given that everyone assumes almost anything, even 3D games like this, could be it.

I'm a fiend at Bocce

Somebody developed this instead of a Wind Jammers clone.

If memory serves bocce is the language Aunt Beru wanted the new translator droid to speak and C3PO said it was like a second language to him. That seems like an incredibly obscure thing to make a simulator about but the Germans do love their simulators.
