ooh, me likey the editor. This is a perfect example of why people are mad at IW for the way they are handling the PC situation for MW2. I GUARANTEE if Bethesda suddenly decided to do the same thing with the Elder Scrolls series on the PC and didn't let you make your own stuff, there would be just as big an outcry as what is going on with MW2. It's just that BioWare and Bethesda care about what the consumer wants, and there is a lot to be said for that, on forums, and also with the wallet. I am WAY more inclined to buy a game like this that has little extras thrown my way, as opposed to ending up having to pay over $100+ on a game in the long run.

Yeah like 20 GB isn't enough  ,we PC gamers will get plenty of mods in years to follow .I love Bioware .

That's not always true.  NWN 1 had a huge expansion of stuff, however NWN 2 did not.  It was due to the editor being overly complex & possibly the people who worked on NWN 1 didn't want to learn the new editor or had grown uninterested in NWN module design.  I hope Dragon Age will have the kind of content hoard that NWN 1 had, but it isn't guaranteed.
 
One good thing, might be that I can key in an easy code & get the S-rank for the Dragon Age PC version of the game. That'd be sweet.

ONE(marketing sentence) about the tools (30sec max). The rest is the usual "Buy the game promo".
 
The EA Games/Bioware PR-machine has become annoying! BACK OFF - unless you pay Giantbomb for this secret ads! Then call them 'ads' b/c they are!

Depends on the scale of the mod. Some awesome mods can be done in weeks or months while others can take years. Some mods are essentially full games. :)

Depends on the nature of a mod. If it's like, a conversion style mod, where it basically makes a new game within an engine, a lot. If it's more like, making a level or a funny/neat thing, not as many. Skins can take a good long while, but tend to be really quick in comparison, unless it's a total rehash of the game. Also depends on the tools available, like here the time needed will extend both ways. THings will be easier, but you will be able to do a TON.

BioWare has stated they are in talks with Sony to find a way to bring modded content to the PS3 version, perhaps using the Unreal Tournament 3 model.
