I really liked this, I would be down for a weekly co-op thing run by Brad where he gets people to attempt hard achievements/trophies.

I ended up getting this achievement solo. Just listened to podcasts while I did it. It's almost easier that way (I also tried it with 3 players) because you have much more room to maneuver and you get all the pickups yourself. The mode is also based off a ton of luck - getting two or three ammo powerups and the saw helps a ton.

Excited to watch this video! This is a great game mode.

@langdonx: That idea feels so self-indulgent. I have a hard time believing anyone would want to see that week in and out until we got it. Not that it isn't tempting.

holy shit i haven't laughed that hard in a long time. i love all the "in office" multiplayer stuff you guys have been doing, including TNT.

I tuned into the live stream expecting to get bored in a few minutes and stop watching. But it was actually oddly exciting. There were so many close calls and "almost" moments it turned out to be a fun ride, even if it didn't end up being very successful.

This was great, had some really good moments, especially all those close calls. There's something about seeing people struggling to outrun a horrible monster, and just barely scraping by, that's exciting I guess.

This is really stressful to watch

watching it live today.. I was laughing so hard and then pulling my hair out at how close they came sometimes.. truly enjoyable

@Brad: I dunno, I'd sure as hell enjoy seeing the lantern run completed. Seeing as I'll never be able to do it.

Also, you know whats a good way to find out if subscribers want to see it? Throw up a member vote somehow, or something.

However, based off the way the chat was responding, this went over better than even last night's TNT did.

That mode looked super fun. Really glad they got to play it and recorded it.

The premium content that's been going up this past week is better than Happy Hour ever has been.

Well, it's certainly not impossible ... I did it solo, it's probably even easier without the uncoordinated chaos of 4 players. ;)

Exactly what I was trying to say.

Maybe it's okay with two players if one gets all the main weapon upgrades - which you absolutely need to have maximized by room 5 or 6 (if they didn't drop by then you might as well just restart). But 4 players randomly picking up items and not really knowing all the possible rooms? Never!

Also, the best secondary power-up for this mode (and playing solo) is the electric shock thing that you have to charge up. You can kill groups of enemies in one hit with that thing - especially useful for the "geometry wars" guys (one line = 1 or 2 shots) and for the black guys who cling to your lantern (one shot for all of them). At least when playing solo you need to kill a bunch of enemies to get enough points - otherwise you won't have a million at room 9. And beyond room 9, it's going to be over pretty quickly.

This awesome. Intense. I would love another video to see this task to its completion.
