Hadn't looked into it before, but somehow I'm not surprised at all by Rorie saying that people got furious over Call of Duty being added into the Battle.net library. Kinda hilarious and also kinda sad.

This show though, only hilarious! Might grab Battle Princess for Switch at some point.

I don't understand at all critics calling Dusk one of the best FPS ever made. I thought it was decent if even that, so it's nice to see Jeff agree who is also well versed in the genre.

Furthermore, I don't understand why Ion Maiden isn't getting that attention instead because it actually lives up to the classics it is imitating. Can't wait for the full version this year. I hope the GB crew give it a shot.

I completed Slipstream 5000 a few months ago. That game has some.. CLASSIC faces.

ESC from Planet makes Jurassic Park Trespasser look like Halo 2.

I enjoyed Dusk. That game kinda goes PLACES.

Yeah I do feel like sometimes you have to take GB opinions as totally off the cuff, what their attitude is at that moment though. Since they were looking at a lot of steam trash they may have just been in the wrong mindset?

Its a double edged sword when you get GB. They are going to give it to you RAW and sometimes that RAWness results in opinions skewed by things totally unrelated to the game.

Whereas some other place might research the game and realize it's a long awaited indie darling and be a little softer on it, this is not that.

For everyone offended by the treatment of DUSK just realize that type of game is clearly not what they like. I wish there was more coverage of Killing Floor 2 but that game just fell by the wayside. It happens they don't HAVE to like everything.

I am not condemning Rorie, or anyone else who feels as he does, for not being able to enjoy older-style games because they look and play old, but what a bummer thing to hear someone say out loud.
