The main protagonist of the spinoff BlazBlue manga Remix Heart who eventually became a playable character in BlazBlue Central Fiction.

Originally a boy known as Mai Hazuki, after stumbling upon a unique Grimoire, Mai unintentionally absorbed its power, but the result transformed her into her current, girly form of Mai Natsume. Finding themselves unable to reverse her transformation, the Hazuki family sent her to the NOL Academy under the alias of Mai Natsume. However, as time as gone on, Mai has adapted to her new body and mindset.
