    Overview

Conflict: Desert Storm II: Back to Baghdad is a tactical shooter developed by Pivotal Games for PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox, and PC. Players control a four-man squad fighting through Operation Desert Storm.

    Gameplay

Similar to the previous game, Desert Storm II allows players to give orders to the other squad members as well as individually control each one.

    Squad

    John Bradley

The leader of the team, John Bradley can use a laser target designator to call in air strikes and is proficient at using assault rifles.

    Paul Foley

Foley is the designated sniper in the squad.

    Mick Connors

In addition to being the light machine gun specialist in the squad, Connors is also proficient at wielding anti-vehicle weapons.

    David Jones

Jones' proficiency at stealth makes him the squad's specialist in silenced weapons and plantable explosives like C4 and antitank mines.

    Squad Orders

    No Caption Provided

Fire at Will: The squad goes on alert and will automatically fire at any enemies within range.

Stand Down: The opposite of Fire at Will, Stand Down will prevent the squad from firing unless a squad member is directly threatened by an enemy.

Follow: Commands a squad member to follow another. A soldier who is following another will come along if the other soldier is also issued a follow order.

Halt: The opposite of Follow, Halt commands the squad or individual soldiers to hold position until ordered to Follow or directly controlled by the player. A soldier automatically halts when the player switches from them to another soldier.

Advance to Position: Used to order squad members to specific positions without having to manually control them. Soldiers will Halt upon reaching their destination.

These orders can be used in combination with each other throughout missions to set up ambushes and provide covering fire for the squad.
