    Overview

    Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist is a collectible card game developed by Other Ocean Interactive and published by Konami Corporation for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

    Gameplay

    In Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist players duel using the standard rules from the real life counterpart card game.

    Campaign Mode

    In Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist there is a campaign that has players dueling through a series of matches against characters from the franchise. The battles are divided up into 5 campaigns that make up the entire series. The different campaigns are from the following Yu-Gi-Oh! series:

    • Yu-Gi-Oh!
    • Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
    • Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
    • Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL
    • Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V

    During campaign battles the player has the choice of playing with a historic deck which is based on the deck used in the television series or using a created deck.

    Link Evolution

    On May 21st, 2019, Konami announced that Legacy of the Duelist would be coming to Nintendo Switch on August 20th, 2019 as Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution. This release includes all content from the base game, all DLC, and adds a new campaign for Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS as well as an updated card pool, bringing the total amount of available cards to 9,000.

    A physical version of Link Evolution was also announced and will include 3 exclusive cards for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG.
