A magnet is something, usually in a bar or horseshoe shape, that is attracted to and can, if strong enough, pull in metallic things via the force of magnetism. Video games may be a bit more liberal in what a magnet can attract and how powerful it is.
Mushroom is the familiar term used to describe a gilled fungus which may or may not bear a stem. Mushrooms are the "fruit" of spore bearing fungi.
Paddles are used in various games to hit objects (usually ping-pong balls).
Pressing a key on the keyboard causes a felt lined "hammer" to strike strings commonly made of steel.

A length of exceptionally sharp metal with a handle, used for centuries as the go-to killing device for the human race. It's dead simple: you stick the pointy end in the thing you want to die. Or you could always slash them with the equally sharp sides. That works too.
A flat surface that is often used to place objects upon - most commonly, food.
A common RPG item that typically allows the player to restore the party's health and magic, save progress, or both.

A tree is a perennial woody plant. Trees are often used in games as a natural wall, providing a barrier as well as cover. Many games also use them to make their environments looks more natural and attractive.
A trident is a weapon generally seen in fighting video games.
A wand is a hand held stick or a rod that's used in casting spells or harnessing magical powers.
Even though water in games tends to bring about death, we all still hold it near and dear to us. After all, the human body is comprised mostly of it.
