    Hey fellow GiantBombers

So I bought my X360 last year (around July), and have steadily been building up a library of games since then. Since I bought my console fairly late I have probably missed out on some of the truly awesome titles over the years. Do you have any pointers of what games I definatly should buy, no questions asked? I've been thinking about Viva Pinata, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, and the two Gears of War titles. I've also already ordered Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption.

    Games I Currently Own

    Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
    Batman: Arkham Asylum
    Borderlands (Without any DLC)
    Brütal Legend
    Burnout Paradise
    Castle Crashers (Arcade)
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Arcade)
    Condemned: Criminal Origins
    Condemned 2: Bloodshot
    Dead Rising
    Eternal Sonata
    Fable II
Fallout 3 (With all the DLC)
    Final Fight: Double Impact (Arcade)
Grand Theft Auto IV (Without any DLC)
    Guitar Hero World Tour
    Gyromancer (Arcade)
Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers (Arcade)
Mass Effect (With all the DLC)
Mass Effect 2 (With all the DLC)
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Arcade)
Resident Evil 5 (Without any DLC)
    Rock Band
    Rock Band 2
    Saints Row 2
    Shadow Complex (Arcade)
    Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Arcade)
    'Splosion Man (Arcade)
    Tales of Vesperia
    The Beatles: Rock Band
    The Maw (Arcade)
    Trials HD (Arcade)

Phew. So there you have it. I'd love to get some feedback regarding what I should aim to pick up next, be it Arcade or Disc.
    Cheers.

Forget about the first Viva Pinata, just get the second one. It's pretty much the same game with more stuff. Bayonetta is a good pick too. And yes, Crackdown. It's better if you have a friend to play with. I once played co-op for about 10-12 hours straight. But you can have fun with it alone too. Oh and you can't install Crackdown to hard drive. I don't know why this is, but it sucks.

@simian: The main reason I've stayed far away from the Halo-games is the heavy focus on multiplayer in them. I enjoy playing on Live every now and then, but really don't care much for games that almost require you to play it online to have fun. Not to mention I'm a delicate flower who don't want to have my mom insulted everytime I kill someone. :P

@CrazyChris: I rarely play HALO online for the same reasons. The single player game is decent enough though, especially in the case of ODST which does any Flood sections.

Forget I said that. I just found out that there has been a title update that fixes it. I don't know if these things even matter to you, but whatever. :)

Which is why it's best to download via Games on Demand for $19.99

If you like RPGs, try Blue Dragon.  It's only $10 used now.

Dragon Age is good on 360, so if you didn't/couldn't get it for PC it's a fine game with a controller as well.
Also try the Split/Second demo. If you like Burnout there's probably something for you there.
Lastly, SSIV ... why not, right?

If you enjoy racing games, I'd highly recommend DiRT 2 for rally-style racing, or Forza 3 for racing simulation. I'd also keep an eye on Blur which should be coming soon (try the demo to see if you like it), if you enjoy what is essentially Mario Kart but with real cars.

The single player in Gears of War has some excellent set pieces, great pacing and really good shooting. They're really cheap now too. Definitely worth your time.

Jebus, I sure got what I asked for...I'm starting to get mindblown. Also realized that I should probably pick up Beautiful Katamari, as I loved the PS2-version. Dead Space is extremely interesting, along with the two Assassin's Creed.

The original Bioshock is not to be missed.  Fantastic game.  One of the best I've ever played.

On the Arcade, try Braid.  Price just dropped to 800 pts.  Good deal.

Do you want any Indie games recommendations?  There are some really fun diversions over there...  just bought Shoot1up last night and had fun with it....
