    The door code of Looking Glass Studios, often used in their and other studios' games as an easter egg.

    451 first appears as a door code in System Shock (1994), in reference to the Ray Bradbury book, Fahrenheit 451. After this, it was set as the keypad door code to Looking Glass Studios' Cambridge, Massachusetts office as 0451. Since then, the code in either form has appeared in many games as a nod to System Shock, Looking Glass Studios' games, or the Immersive Sim genre.
