Entities that have different, though usually malicious, roles in Asian religions. These range from being antagonists of the Hindu gods to the three-faced, six-armed depictions of Japanese Buddhism.
A Greek god, brother to Zeus and Poseidon. He is either the fearsome yet just ruler of the Greek underworld, or a malicious Devil-esque figure, depending on the version.
The king of fairies in English literature, most notably Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. He was cursed to have a child-like appearance.
The Roman goddess of the hunt who is also equivalent to Artemis from Greek mythology. She represents the virtues of chastity.
The god of the underworld and punisher of broken oaths in Roman mythology. He was likely derived from the Greek demon Horkos and is also related in function to the Roman figure Dis Pater.

The personification of sleep in Greek mythology. He and his twin brother Thanatos, death, were sons of Nyx.
Yoshitsune Minamoto was an officer of the Minamoto clan during the tail end of Japan's Heian era. He has since become a popular figure in folklore and other historical and fictional works.
A demon from Sri-Lankan mythology, who is thought to be the mount of the demon lord Mara. Also, appears prominently in the Megami Tensei series.
Jatayu was said to be one of the two sons of Aruna, the charioteer of Surya, as well as a nephew to Garuda, the winged mount of Vishnu. He is most commonly depicted in his form of a vulture, though he sometimes appears as an eagle.
The feathered serpent who appeared in the Popol Vuh. He and the god Huracan brought forth land from the sea and created life on earth.
Caretakers of earthly treasures in Hindu lore. Their female counterparts are known as Yakshini.
Orochi is an eight-headed, eight-tailed dragon from Japanese mythology. It typically appears in video games as some form of a boss, possibly most famously in Okami.
A knight from Scottish folklore. He used to be human before he was captured by the Queen of Fairies who turned him into a fairy.
The god of war and lightning in Hinduism. He has roots in the millennia-old text the Rigveda and has forms that spread further east into schools of Buddhism.
The leopard-formed President of Hell. He imparts the wisdom of the liberal sciences and can make the summoner's enemies delusional.
Lord of the earthly gods in Japanese myth. In addition to his role as a formidable guardian deity, he is also said to be the patron god of Aikido.
A low-level fire elemental. It is a mixture of "heat" and "dryness".
A low-level water elemental. It is a mixture of "cold" and "moist".
A giant bird demon of Sri Lankan lore. Appears as a demon in the Megami Tensei series.

The sister of the Canaanite deity Baal. She is a warrior goddess and tore the death god Mot to pieces after Baal mysteriously disappeared, assuming him to have been killed.
A sacred sea creature of Hindu mythology. It is depicted as some combination of stag, elephant, crocodile, and fish.
