Adrianne Avenicci

Overview

Adrianne is the daughter of Proventus Avenicci, the steward of Whiterun Hold. She is married to a Nord called Ulfberth War-bear. They share a blacksmith shop called Warmaiden’s which is located in the city of Whiterun in the Plains District. Ulfberth War-bear works the counter and Adrianne works as a Blacksmith. The name Warmaiden’s comes from Adrianne's childhood; due to her fascination with swords -- which lead to her becoming a blacksmith -- her father Proventus Avenicci gave her the nickname War-maiden. She is quite the humble woman, as she'll admit that she is not Whiterun's best blacksmith, with that title going to Eorlund Gray-Mane, the smith who works at the famous and ancient Skyforge.

Her father often comes to her for advice, which in turn, becomes advice for the Jarl, Balgruuf the Greater.

Notes

• She works all day long and can be found at the forge as early as 6AM but she doesn’t sell anything until 8AM. She usually takes her lunch inside the shop with her husband Ulfberth War-bear at 12PM.
• The first time the Dragonborn meets the Adrianne, she asks them deliver the greatsword of Balgruuf the Greater to her father Proventus Avenicci. Proventus is most usually found at Dragonsreach in the Cloud district of Whiterun, where he is the advisor to the Jarl of Whiterun.
