Alan Wake looks like a game that I'd enjoy watching someone else play.  The gameplay that I've seen doesn't seem that interesting to me, but the story looks really intriguing.  Of course, having not played the game at all, I'm pretty much judging the book by its cover.

I have this sucker preordered, and I can't fucking wait to PLAY the shit out of it...

Yeah some friends of mine are a bit like that, they like this kind of game but aren't very good at them, so they usually get me to play them as a kind of movie-night type deal.

My housemate has been watching me play, and he finds it intriguing! Especially since we've watched twin peaks and shutter island together in the past. Alan Wake is a great game, with a great story.

I'm hoping this is the kind of game you can watch, my girlfriend better think so too...
