So on the bombcast Jeff was talking about how no one was talking about Crackdown 2 well the same thing happened to this game. I predicted a strong consistent following but now know one plays...what happened???

It's very short and a lot of people don't bother with mods so have probably moved on to something else, also it was free so people don't need to feel like should justify the costs of buying it by playing it a lot.

It being free, I'm sure plenty of people still play.

I played it a lot during the first week, but then I stopped. Great game that desperately needs more maps.

A free multi player focused Valve developed game? 
Yeah I would imagine a few people are still playing.

This game missed the boat. They should have included a random level generator. It's the next logical step in the formula.

I still play occasionally, just completed the game on hard and looking to try insane.

i played it for 2 days then stopped. i'm not a fan of doing the same levels over and over again...oh and sc2

I still play. 
 
And never have to wait long for people to join in on a public game. There is a nice flow of newcomers, still. 
 
I must admit, that I would love some more levels. Maybe the coming winter will teach people to use that leveleditor :-)

I still play it and I'm attempting to create levels, but this stuff is ridiculous. I thought it was going to be an SC type level editor but oh god wire frames. I'll still try though.
