Achievements: The Newest/Latest!

Want to see the Mass Effect 2 achievements? OK, how about Dante's Inferno? BioShock 2?

Doesn't look like much of an inferno to me, but then this is a really dumb joke to make that is only barely tied to the story. Still, this is probably better than that lame 83-part marketing campaign that EA cooked up for Dante's Inferno. There I go again, writing long captions for no good reason. Sorry!

Hey, just wanted to quickly drop in with a list of Xbox 360 and PC games that have been added to the Giant Bomb achievement system over the last month. Normally, these come in the form of our weekly post about the most popular achievements on the site. That'll be returning shortly, but in the meantime, I thought you might like to know what's new, achievementally speaking.

Yep, all of those games are now in the system. So if you hit the game pages and press the magic "achievements" button on the left side of the page, you'll get a fat list of them.

Much like Halo Waypoint, the three music stores for Lips, Guitar Hero, and Rock Band all show up on your profile, even though they aren't actual games and don't have any achievements associated with them. Seems like a waste of space unless they're going to eventually roll out some kind of avatar awards that are awarded because of progress in multiple games, just like Halo Waypoint does.

Boy, BioShock 2 sure does have a lot of multiplayer achievements. As for the most popular lists, like I said, we'll bring that back soon enough. Until then, just sit back and imagine that Borderlands is still on top. Because it probably is.
