@jennibelle: i respect your view, let me tell you what i see.

the girl: is "the people" as in humanity or the people that willed the rift into life with the power of their mind (and a small amount of cash). i say this because it looks like the girl shouts rift.

The rift: is the light glowing from her mind. it is not yet fully formed but it looks promising and like the next holy step in gaming.

the frog: the frog is facebook. while the girl is creating the rift the frog comes out of nowhere and buys that light (aka the rift)

the girl goes away because no one wants anything to do with this new facebook rift.

but then she comes back and is both shocked and scared. the frog in the 3th pannel is tempting her to try on the new rift. he knows that in the end she will give in to the temptation.. humans are weak (unlike frogs) they all break in the end.

4th pannel is the girl (the people) with the new occulus rift on her face. in the end she gave in and bought the new rift. although she looks happy with the rift, unknown to her the rift has a hidden dark side she cannot see, but the frog he knows. and he just lies down contend with his victory. holding a symbolic gun, he has her hostage, but no one can see a green gun on a green frog.

so yea... that's what i got out of it.

ps. i would like to stress that is not my point of view, im not invested in the rift enough to get really into the whole debate.
