FEAR 3 Delayed Yet Again, Now Scheduled for June

It’s official: Alma Wade don't give a damn about your calendar. The horror shooter being developed at Day 1 Studios is now slated to arrive on June 21, a representative at Warner Bros., the game's publisher, confirmed to me this morning. F.E.A.R. 3 has been postponed for, ironically, a third time. 

Previously, F.E.A.R. 3 was slated to hit this May. Before that, the multi-platform game was slated for a March 22 release. Before even that, Alma's return was slated to hit in the fall.

This is fuckin' ridiculous. It's like they're dragging it out just to make sure no one in the world cares about FEAR 3 by the time it comes out. Because there are still like 3 people left.

I'm currently re-installing FEAR 2. Barely played that game at all, but I loved what I did.

June looks like it'll have some interesting releases this year. Infamous 2, FEAR 3, Duke, Alice and Shadows of the Damned.

They can take all the time they want as long as when it comes out, we get the European special edition stuff here too. That figure of Alma is horrifying, and I must have it.

Wow, that's pretty close to release date sort of delay. I wonder what they can fix in that amount of time. Whatever makes the game, better, I suppose. (???)

I wonder, how well FEAR and FEAR2 did, sales wise? Does anyone know this?

Well least the game is still coming out and I'm still interested in the game so we'll see. Apparently its more due to not conflicting with other games but whatever.

I thought this was called F.3.A.R or something, what am I thinking of.

They are going to release it at the same day Dungeon Siege III and Shadows of the Damned. Wouldn't be bad if they delayed it a bit more...

And as MEATBALL points out,all the competition!  Why? This is going to be a difficult game to sell because of the Fear franchise's uneven history, and maybe even for some the look of some of the trailers. I for one hope it  bursts into open sky, or rather crazy moody scary shit with good shooter/Ai mechanics, I'll take that.

Are you shitting me? This game has been delayed for ever. I don't even see the point when it's barely even going to make a ripple. Well, better to at least put some effort into it for the remaining fans, I guess.

Always be wary of games with release dates near the end of a fiscal quarter. Publishers will dump the game out, bugs be damned, just to get that revenue in a certain time frame to appease the fickle shareholders. And as usual the gamers get screwed over.

Day 1 has to close after they plop this abortion out. Fuck putting your money in gold; bet on these dudes closing down. Nobody is going to buy this game.

The longer it takes to polish teh better, it was looking pretty bad not too long back, but the newer trailers are slowly restoring my faith.

One can only hope it's worth the wait, I doubt it will be though...

I played the first one and it was OK. Has this series gotten much better than the first one or is the story just as convoluted?

This game will be released with Deus Ex Human Revolution and The Old Republic in twenty-oh-never.

I loved the first and was very disappointed by the second... I will keep my expectations low for this one. Especially after these delays.

Holding out for the inevitable $0.96 Steam sale.

I don't think I even care anymore. Too bad too because the first two games were rather good.

It's not that high on my list, I can wait a little longer.

The more this game gets delayed the less I care about it.

Only 5 days till release, i really enjoyed the FEAR series so i hope this turns out better then brink or duke.
