For A Cartoon Lady, Catherine Is Pretty Hot

Seems like the dead guy had sheep-like eyes, and in those dream sequences Vincent is growing sheep horns. I wonder if you die, do you become one of those sheep in the weird dream world.

Hot cartoon ladies are my favorite.

Looks very cool. The 3D-cartoon part I like.

The main guy in that trailer looks like the guy in Club Escapade in Persona 3 Portable.

Also: the Famitsu article has the director and other main team members saying that they can't talk about what they called "the RPG" and "the game where boys and girls fight" [Persona 5] right now, but they hope to start showing things next year.
 
Apparently they're working on both that and this at the same time.

First thing that came to me after watching the trailer is that it seems to have the same feeling as the 
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni anime series.

this game looks awful. it just looks awful. the art style, the premise it looks like shit. and ya'll think catherine is hot? she looks horrible to me. that android form persona 3 was hot but her?

If Jack Frost is in this game, I will buy it. 
 

But anyhoo, I'm very intrigued by this game.

This looks absolutely amazing.

I'm really digging the designs, it's like anime designs translates well into 3d cell shading graphics. If those 2d looking scenes are really not 2d, rather 3d, i'm totally impressed because I can't tell.

I must have watched this trailer  atleast 10 times now. Shit's awesome.
 
I also noticed something, at the start of this trailer, Vincent talks to(what I assume is) his girlfriend about dreaming that he dies. And then she responds that she dreams she killed someone instead.
 
And they you see a sheep go splat.....on the logo of the game.
 
The right side of the logo, which is were his girlfriend is represented. If we see another trailer where one of the sheep guys goes splat on the left side, I'm calling it:

A) They're not making porn. B) Atlus doesn't make Demon's Souls, From Software does. "

I'm taking a wild guess that Atlus are experimenting making a full 3D game with this game and honing their skills so that they can make sure they do Persona 5 (which is their marque series) right.

Graphics look amazing. And I bet that persona 5 will run the same engine as that. Anime cutscenes and 3d voiced anime like cutscenes for in game. I Can't wait.

Yesterday, when all I had were a few scans about a "horror action-adventure title about waking up from dreams, aimed at adults" I was thoroughly confused and slightly angry to see the words "Persona Team" without "Persona Game".
 
Today, after watching that trailer and realizing that "high school simulation where you go into a dungeon to shoot yourself in the head and summon demons" sounds even crazier, I am much happier. I love the look of this game, I love the music already, and I can rest easy knowing Atlus has some idea of what to do with a Playstation 3. Persona 5 may not be coming next year, but it will come and it will look great.

Not to be a jerk face, but Atlus did direct an action adventure game before...

Atlus sure knows how to make kick-ass intros, which I'm assuming this will be for the actual game. 
 
The whole 'mature' thing probably rules this out as an ER, though I guess they could just age-gate all the videos. Regardless of how I consume this game, I'm really interested. The previous games have been concerned with saving the world from some great evil; this looks to be a much more personal story.

I have such a mixed feeling about this that it's making it even more intriguing. Hopefully see more about it soon.

Well, it's Atlas alright. I'm not sure I'm digging the erotic bits, but I'm sure the Persona team knows what it's doing. Still, it's no P5.
 
I do wonder if this part of the SMT franchise, or if the cameo in P3P meant nothing in that regard.
