Here's The New Game From The Pure People

A mysterious new video from the people behind last year's ATV racer Pure, BlackRock Studio, was leaked to us this morning. And by "leaked," I really mean "provided by the PR firm repping the game." Here it is.

Looks pretty cool.  :-)

Cars and explosions. Whatever this is, it seems to be headed in the right direction.

I couldn't see much in the video, but the Pure demo is great so this could be something to look out for

Pure 2: Distilled

did pure really sell all that much before? i remember the demo being really fun and the style of gameplay being a lot like ssx but i never really heard much hype

I liked the Pure demo and I'm definitely gonna check that game out on the cheap at some point, so this ought to be worth keeping an eye on.

The trailer didn't really provide a lot of information about the game, to say the least... There were cars, and some explosion? Great?

Anyways, as far as racing games is concerned, I've just dug out burnout and gotten into that again.

How did Pure do sales wise? I played it from gamefly but I wasn't interested enough in ATV racing to buy it.

Pure is pretty dope, hopefully they fix some of the weird kinks in "The New Game"

Fast cars, some explosions and some things falling down. Seems like a reasonable track.

Black Rock Studio (formerly Climax Racing) are the makers of Hot Wheels, so I'm guessing this is a 3rd installment.

Burnout with large scale environmental effects and damage sounds like a rather awesome game- and this new title.

Yeah I am getting a very strong Burnout vibe from this.  Normally that'd sound kind of bad, but that isn't how I mean it at all.  First of all Burnout is really unique...too unique there just aren't enough good arcade racers like that.  Second the guys who made pure are probably in the top five studios I'd like to see work on something like this.  I guess we can all agree to chalk this one up under awesome.

Oh god is everyone just going to copy the Dead Rising 2 trailer now?

I thought Pure was really good fun but a little too shallow for my liking. I'd be interested to see if this new game follows that same sort of arcadey formula.

Oh my gosh Blackrock is developing the new Burnout game!!!!!!!!

There's not much to go on there, but hey. It's got cars and it's got crashes. That'll do for now. :)

Looks good...but cinematic cameras tend to do that. I'll wait until things clear up a bit more.

What i am lookin for at the moment in raceing games is a race fighter. Wheelman is going in the right directions but dono how thats gona work out. I need burnout + Tekken. Something were you pull 180 handbreaks into other people and just try and mess em up. It would be takin a huge leaf out of burnouts book but if it was done in a more complex way with more of a fightin style gameplay it would be very diffrent. What Pacific rifft did plus a bit of the PGR style

This has exploding gas pumps and nice cars in, so I'm already in.

Also, I hope this is a Pure sequel and you can trick the cars, that would be bitchin'.

I want a new Interstate 76 game. Better yet just remake Interstate 76 with fancy shmancy graphics but leave in all the funk. I loved that game.

Looks cool, but I'm still not used to the Disney logo...

I'm hoping this doesn't turn out to be a blatant Burnout ripoff, but any game that lets me go fast and blow stuff up is at least worth checking out.

If it's highway style racing this could be sweet. If it's closed circuit crap, meh.

i couldn't really see much but i did catch a pretty good look at one of those cars. looks coo, hopefully the in-game will look that way..

but did i see a copyright for Disney? that instantly makes me unsure.. i swear, if donald duck is driving or something, ill be pissed.

Looks like some sort of new "GRIDge racer" (that a mix of grid and ridge racer or the lay man...)  and seeing how I thought Pure, was a terribly boring game that brought nothing new to the table as far as ATV games go, I bet this will be something very close along those lines.  Theres never any real imagination used to develop Disney video games.   Its always just them pumping out some more grandson gifting fodder for the old people to try be cool in the kids eyes.  No real self respecting person would want a game like this when there is SO much good stuff floating around out there.

Pure was awesome...well at least the demo I played.  It made me want to get the full game really bad, and I usually never even touch racing games.
