Wow, if that's true M$ managed to come up with a name even more ridiculous then "Move"... congrats to them, I didn't though that was possible.

I was reading it the whole time thinking it said that the Natal name was going to be "Kinetic"(which I thought actually sounded pretty damn kewl), only to realize that it's actually, "Kinect" (which is pretty damn lame).
 
And I thought they couldn't top the lameness of the name "Wave".
 
And unless M$ wants to trade me even up for my current 250GB 360 Phat, the new 360 Dell Slim is pretty damned meaningless to me.

Kinect is obviously connect meets kinetic. It's supposed to be both. It's also retarded.

I'm still on the fence on Natal/Kinect.  I'll have to see it during their press conference tomorrow.

PC's that use the hands-free feature would be cool. I still don't care about Natal.

Well the name does make sense. Kinect... Kinetic... you have to move around to use the system. It's all logical.

Probably the biggest thing for about this story for me is the part where it says "integrated wi-fi". It's about damn time. I really couldn't care less about Natal, no matter what dumb name they slap on it.

I get the play on words, but  it just sounds, I dunno, cheap? Kinect does feel more like a term to reach out and connect with thw Wii owners though...

It looks a little ugly... but now that I take a second look, it looks alright. 
   
I'd wait until I get an actual screenshot of the console than on the fancy camera work in that picture. Granted it also doesn't look all that smaller than the original 360.

Kinect is a horrible name. And most likely device. Hopefully it fails.
 
That new 360 looks pretty sexy though, I don't why the hate for it.

I never put a console like that (don't own a wii)....360 scratched 2 disks that way.  Don't like putting disks in vertically either....maybe it's just me tho.  I'd think that widened part on the bottom would make it not work horizontally.

If you look at the disc tray on the slim, and scale it to the current model, the size of the slim seems only marginally smaller. "

From the picture, it looks like the hdd is internal now.

We need some clear hard footage to show what makes this Natal, oh sorry I mean Kinect, so special.

Maybe I'm crazy, but by looking at the disc tray size, that console doesn't look any slimmer than the original one. If it is, it's certainly not significant. Anyways, I don't think it looks good, but I said the same thing about the PS3 slim and I eventually started to like it.
 
Oh and I'm still not feeling Natal (or Kinect I guess), they have some things to prove tomorrow.

Looks like its going to break real easy like most Microsoft products. I am sorry a little peeved because I recently had a 360 red ring #4 or 5 and now my Plug and Play recharge kit just crapped out.

You know, I didn't think people would find that much to hate, well apparently it's been found. 
 
It's just a name and a slim design, it's almost not worth talking about.

Kinect is not a horrible name, but all the Kinect games do not peak my interest. However, I doubt Microsoft is aiming for me as the primary audience.

The more I look t the pic, it seems fake. It's hardly slim, as many have noticed the disc tray is a good way to judge the size, and it looks nearly as tall as the existing 360. I think its Photoshopped.

Doesn't take long for people to just go RAEEEEEGGG does it over the internet. Especially when its the exact same sentiments from the three sides when the Wii and Move were announced.
 
The games mentioned aren't that surprising as you're gonna get them on all 3 systems. We'll have to wait tommorow and tuesday to see what other titles they have given they touted having almost all the major publishers on hand.  
 
As for the slim model shown? I think it looks pretty good actually, but whether it's actually slimmer or not, can't say as theres no point of reference. Or if its even real.
