Sony (Europe) to Offer Select PS3, PSP Games When PSN's Back Online

Has anyone got a clue what type of game is being offered yet (full or PSN game)? I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to choose a couple as the only ones I've ever downloaded are Super Stardust and Rampart so it will be good to have another couple of games installed on the box.

I'd love for Sony NOT to offer anything from SCEA/SCEE in tihs, but instead offer games from small third party developers as part of the make good program to them.  Pixel Junk X?  Slambolt Scrappers?  Chime Super Deluxe?  Gundemonium?  Kill two birds with one stone please...

Ugh, just give me a free download copy of Infamous and call it a day.   It might even be good advertising for Infamous 2.

I'll gladly take a couple games if they are offering, but I still don't like how negligent Sony has been with the security of users information. They better make sure this dosen't happen again.

My friend has lost money due to his information being stolen, Sony are fucking lying if they are saying that no-one has had their accounts compromised and withdrawals being made.

I say 5 free games of our choice out of the entire playstation library, and or a full year of PSN+. Having lots of PSN+ members might help their next gen sales.

so let me get this right i get to choose 4 games out of 10 where 2 of em HAS to be a psp game. so people who dont have a psp only get 2 and what if you allready have the 5 game you can select you get nothing??? i know thats abit worse case senario but what i think they should have done is give everyone a x amount of credit on there psn wallet that way people can buy the shit they want. cant see a difference since it would be the same amount as the give away or mayb a little less
i got a psp but i only used it for about 3 hours total

there is only some addons for unchated 2 mp, skins, some avatars and dynamic themes.(eu psn store)sounds like you have not played any of the game if thats the case then shame on you go directly online and buy em'  "

I hope they won't just offer PSN games, but the retail games you can buy on PSN as well (like Red Faction: Guerrilla, God of War Collection etc.).

This is great...I only ever use my PS3 as a Blu-Ray player and don't even own any games for it. If it wasn't for it being all over the news and GB, I wouldn't ever have known PSN was down.
If this happened to Xbox Live with its millions upon millions of Gold subscribers, the service would have been back up and running within 24 hours. You get what you pay for.

Will this get me to update my PS3 for the first time in a year? Depends how sweet the deal is.

All I can say is that in a perfect world, I hope that we here in the states with uk accounts can get in on this.   I am just Hoping that they don't go security crazy and block our access overseas in the long run.
