Swery Would Really Love It if Someone Would Help Fund His New Game

Awesome Japanese game designing insane person Swery65 is obviously a favorite industry personality among the Giant Bomb staff. Between the magical experience the dual Endurance Run teams each had playing through his decidedly wonky survival horror game, Deadly Premonition, and the euphorically loopy interview we conducted with the man during this past GDC, it's safe to say that we're pretty smitten with the guy and his lovably bonkers antics.

I can only wonder what SWERY could come up with, with a big budget and talented programmers, it probably wouldn't sell well but it would be fucking awesome.

Imagine if Shinji Mikami teamed up with SWERY for his next game, like he did with Suda51 for SotD, and let SWERY go off on his crazy trip while he quietly made the gameplay good.

Ok lets gather up some bucks and help him. Bring it back to the days  creating game was like 100$.

What Swery should do is team up with someone like Suda 51 did with Shinji Mikami.

SWERY is an amazing man

Shouldn't be too tough to find someone to publish.

As weird-good as Deadly Premonition was the game looked, sounded (and played) like it cost about $132 to make.

I would fully support a Kickstarter campaign.

I wish I was rich. I'd fund his game.

If someone before me hasn't said it, I will: "Giant Bomb Games!" The community can all pitch in and buy our very own Swery!

Someone give Swery money. Give him all of the money. 

I don't know how no one wold want to fund him. Any game he makes is guaranteed to be a cult hit at least. I wish I was rich so I could make it rain on SWERY.

I'm pretty sure THQ partners will pick it up, they seem to be collecting Japanese game developers recently.

I would pay him NOT to make another game like Deadly Premonitions.
